Character Creation options missing

these pictures speak for them selves all hairstyles are gone(I used a preset to get the hairstyle you see in the pic), all eye colors except hazel are gone, and all mod added options in the extras section are also gone, does anyone recognize this issue and/or know how to fix it?

Assuming it was not a bad installation (can't rule it out), that mod appears to have overwritten the player's record.  If you uninstall it, and try again - do the options return?

 

Also, what mod is that?  I can take a look at it and confirm what it's doing for you.

what do you mean which mod is that, you mean the hazel eye, cuz I don't know I uninstalled all my eye mods so I assume it's vanilla, I haven't gotten around to uninstalling hair mods yet but I'll try that next.

Sorry, you said the above, and I assumed all was well and good - then you installed that preset mod, and got the result indicated where the options are missing.  I was inquiring as to which mod you installed that then you noticed this issue.

I don't know which mod I installed before this happened, as I don't know when it started I remember having it before than I left Fallout 4 for a while and recently started playing again, I had to update F4SE and a bunch of mods that require it and I remember forgetting to update looksmenu cuz the presets option was greyed out and my Looksmenu tattoo overlay mod stopped working but everything else worked the problem I have now wasn't there then I updated Looksmenu and the problem you see before you started again. maybe I have too many presets, or a certain preset is causing issues, is that possible?

Character presets in LooksMenu generally wouldn't cause this - when they are the ones accessed through the Preset menu.  It looks like some mod in your LO has affected the player's race, which is where the customization options you are seeing missing are.

 

We can confirm if that's what it is though, fairly easily... (and which mod did it):

 

1. Open up FO4Edit with your entire load order (tick all the boxes), let the background loader finish completely
2. When it completes loading, expand Fallout4.esm to:
   1. Fallout4.esm>Race>Human
3. In the right hand panel, you will see at least 'LooksMenu Customization Compendium.esp' - you may see others listed.  If so, the one farthest to the right is the "winner"

A "winning" mod in FO4Edit is the last one to load and the one who's settings are the ones that make it to your game.  If you see red/pink that means the mod removed/overwrote something from the default settings for either Fallout4.esm or 'LooksMenu Customization Compendium.esp'

 

We can take a look at that mod, if you can identify what it is.  You could always identify it that way, then check the settings in HumanRace (there are A LOT of settings here) to verify if it is in fact removing the customization options, but from what you're seeing in the sreenshots - that looks like the case.

 

 

Good:

 

Conflicts/overwrites:  (FusionCityRising.esp is overwriting some settings for 'Killable Children.esp', which overwrote Fallout4.esm)

well it seems like the explanation for finding out what the problem is or where a problem might be is fairly solid but that still doesnt tell us how to fix it

I have huge section missing which are in red the textures/options missing like in the section showed in the attached image more than half of the lines are red. 

 

(took me 20 min load everything in FO4Edit btw)
