UglyBob Posted March 11, 2018 Posted March 11, 2018 Simply put I have all these files downloaded and unzipped but I put them in the game and nothing. They are not being accessed. What am I doing wrong? I know its most likely simple but so am I. Please help.
autobanned Posted March 11, 2018 Posted March 11, 2018 there is complete guide/tutorial for this http://www.carls-sims-4-guide.com/tutorials/mods-cc.php
UglyBob Posted March 11, 2018 Author Posted March 11, 2018 I have looked for MyDocuments/ElectronicArts/Sims4/Mods and cannot find it. Could I have accidently deleted it when removing the old mods? And if so can I replace it?
UglyBob Posted March 11, 2018 Author Posted March 11, 2018 I started the game. Played for a while because I wanted to explore the new pets thing. Then Exited and saved. Still the MyDocuments/ElectronicArts/Sims4/Mods is not to be found. Do I need to re-install? I am at a loss.

If you are using a pirated version, then we can't help you here. We don't support piracy.
UglyBob Posted March 11, 2018 Author Posted March 11, 2018 It is a legally purchased Sims 4 game. Arrr you callin me a pirate?
Spyder Arachnid Posted March 11, 2018 Posted March 11, 2018 Okay then, it should be in your user folder, in Documents, Electronic Arts, Sims 4, Mods. If there is NO Electronic Arts folder in your Documents, and you said you ran the game, messed with the options, and then exited out, then not sure what to tell ya. Â Only other thing I can think of, is did you install it on OneDrive (which you should never do) or an external drive (again, should never do)? If you did, you'll need to reinstall the game on your actual computer and not one of those as it causes way too many problems. Â Â The only other option is to reinstall the game. After you reinstall it, make sure you are saving it to your computer (C:\Games) or wherever Origin games are saved (I have mine installed at C:\Origin\Origin Games\Â so it doesn't install in program files). Then after it installs, start the game up, open your options, set all your settings and then exit. It should auto create the Electronic Arts folder in your Documents for you.
UglyBob Posted March 11, 2018 Author Posted March 11, 2018 OK..............I uninstalled Sims 4 as well as all the add-ons. I then re-installed same. Still no mods file. Can I create one? Can I sacrifice a virgin? Would this help? Seriously this is maddening. Please help.
autobanned Posted March 12, 2018 Posted March 12, 2018 what is your operating system? windows 7,8, 10 or mac ?
autobanned Posted March 12, 2018 Posted March 12, 2018 press window+R button (in your keyboard usually have a logo windows button) in the run box type documents (type the text only in yellow color) Â your sims 4 documents folder should be there, or post screenshot of it here
UglyBob Posted March 12, 2018 Author Posted March 12, 2018 Now it has a mods folder as well as custom music folder. Is there truly hope Obi Wan?
UglyBob Posted March 13, 2018 Author Posted March 13, 2018 It seems to be working. There are some bugs. The nude bodies look terrible compared to before though. Is there any good fixes?
autobanned Posted March 13, 2018 Posted March 13, 2018 what kind of bugs? can you post screenshot of your game that describe this "bug" ?
UglyBob Posted March 13, 2018 Author Posted March 13, 2018 Penis grows to the length of the female Sim during sex and sticks out of her head. And the penis does not appear in CAS. I have figured out, sort of, how to get the Sims nude in CAS. Not as easy as before. But it sort of works. The old WW was better I think. Minor perhaps but I like the old mods and animations better.
