Willow wont use guns help

I am using the companion willow but she stopped using guns and only punches things. Anyone know of a common issue that causes this?

A mod may have turned on ammo requirements for her perhaps?

Give her some ammo for her gun and see if she starts shooting again.

Might be that she does not have the ammo for the weapons. Or you changed her either through companion wheel or dialoge to meele.

I give her ammo and guns but she prefers fist fighting. I also change her from melee to ranged but that doesnt help much. She seems to use a gun for a little while if I strip her of all weapons and then give her something new. She wont even use beauty!
