Speaking of the "Damsels in Distress"-concept I totally second the idea...the DiD mod for Oblivion was imo one of the most precious additions ever created for a game. 

...it worked seemlessy and was unintrusive...enter a dungeon, check if a damsel is there...if yes free her, give her something to wear and escort her to the next town...maybe a little goodbye woohoo and then go for the next dungeon...greatest!

...makes me wanna go back to Oblivion -.-
