[Xenoblade Chronicles] Nude Mod - Dolphin

INTRO:

First mod every posted. I work IT for a living, but this is legitimately the first mod I have ever made. I am not a graphical designer nor am I a developer. I came to saw this did not exist and decided to create it the best I can. Don't judge too hard, but I welcome constructive criticism!

 

It is NOT okay to post this mod without my permission. If you're interested in raw photoshop files, PM me.

 

OVERVIEW:

Current V1.0: All base models and nude armors done

 

Officially finished version one. All main player characters are nude without armor and the majority of their armor is "nudified" as well. If an armor isn't nude, it's either because I didn't ever see that armor, or it was not possible without modifying the model (which I don't know how to do).

INSTALLATION:
1) Open Dolphin > Click Graphics Settings > Advanced > Check "Load Custom Textures" 

2) Create Directory C:\Users\<YOURNAMEHERE>\Documents\Dolphin Emulator\Load\Textures\SX4E01\

3) Drag entire "NUDE" folder into there. Folder structure does not matter. Feel free to be unorganized like me!

This is really nice. I was hoping someone would  make a mod. Since with dolphin it's "just" i guess it just a matter of texture editing. Good job for a first attempt.

Hey man great job with this. Is there any way I can alter the file to remove nude armors? It would be more immersive for me to have them nude without armor but not with armor on.

Yes you can. Just did. Use another browser or clear your cache. Also try logging out and then back in.

Guess nobody is interested in porting it to the definitive edition, not worth the hassle

 

I would try but the texture mods in dolphin work different than the regular romfs on the switch, and I'm not that good at the topic

Still, i don't want to play it on dolphin, played the 3ds version and it looked horrible, didn't finished it

So I'll wait, ppl are modding XC 2 already

I believe (but i could be wrong) that the only step actually required for porting the mod to switch is actually putting all the file in the proper romfs folder structure.
Still, someone need to find/know said folder structure to do it.

since other HD texture packs for XBC instruct to extract them to:

\Textures\SX4

without the E01 at the end.
