FNIS Problem??

I'm having an issue that seems awful similar to when Skyrim 1.6 was released and broke FNIS (at least IF I'm remembering right).

 

 

I'm using ASLAL and kept my new character in the starter room while I enabled the mods in her MO Profile a few at a time.

 

Somewhere along the line though, the character lost the ability to attack.  SHe can't even get into a combat ready stance.  I'm stuck behind the character IF in 3rd person (no free camera around them with weapons sheathed like normal), and if the character tries to turn in place, it's like watching Micheal Keaton in that old Batman suit; kind of a stiff, lumbering turn.

The mods have been cleaned too (where needed) and I've run FNIS repeatedly.  The closest thing to an answer I found was some vague techno-babble about VIlja in Skyrim conflicting with FNIS.

 

 

ANY ideas?

 

 

 

ALSO: One thing that's never been clear to me...  With MO, I know you're supposed to create a FNIS Overwrite "mod" and put it at the bottom of the list.  Do we delete and replace, drag and drop replace same files, OR just merge everything?   I've always assumed it was Drag and Drop, then tell MO to replace same files....

Oh Skyrim how thou dost mock me....

 

OK so I player.additem 'ed up a weapon for our ASLAL dungeon girl and equipped it.  THAT fixed MOST of the problem.  Only issue now is that she's using the vanilla draw weapons animations for weapons, even after reinstalling XPMSE and re-running FNIS.
