WickedWhimsMod doesn't work with new Sims 4 Update

Why doesn't WickedWhims work with the latest Sims 4 Digital deluxe Update this past week?

I have been having trouble with it as well. What exactly isn't working? My sims will get stuck standing in the middle of the bed.  I removed the mods folder before updating and there was still issues.

I've been having issues with the mod since the toddlers update. I checked to see if any of my other mods are conflicting with it but after removing every mod but wicked whims i still don't get the pop up at the beginning of the game and i can't start any sexual actions by clicking on a bed, for example. I've updated the mod, I've made sure i have the resource file, I've made sure I don't have an extra copy file hidden somewhere. It's just not showing up. Anybody experiencing this issue?

I don't know whats going on but my wicked stuff & my mc command center isn't working at all what so ever so im getting bored without it. Its not showing up i don't know why tho its there but not showing up i hope you can fix this issue please

I have this problem too Neighbourhood screen loads but the minute I click play on a family the load screen appears for a second then the game crashes. Removed all other mods to see if it was a conflict. Then removed all animations not in the base mod. But only solution was to remove WW entirely

I found out that I didn't have two of the files I needed to make the mod work. Now when I click somewere, the Wicked tab appears but the sims won't do anything. What should I do?

Installation Mistakes
The most common mistakes happen to everybody so check them regardless of your pride and computer knowledge.
Please don't use the installer for Windows on Linux or Mac systems. It's not designed for it and you don't need it to install the game.

1. Files structure of mods is pretty strict and putting mod files into too many folders will cause the game to not find them. If your mods are in a folder that is in a folder that is in a folder that is in a folder, you most likely have to fix that. Don't do too many folders, the game can't find the files in them.

2. After every game update, you have to enable mods in settings again. Every single time when the game gets updates all of your mods get disabled. Enable them in settings.

3. Extract downloaded mods. Some of them might need to be in a ZIP or RAR files, but a lot of them require unpacking. Extract them no matter what and if they don't include a note that you shouldn't do it, then you probably should do it.

4. Multiple mods versions. If your mods folder is a mess, you probably have the same mod installed multiple times. Having WickedWhims installed twice or more is a huge mistake. Remove everything related to WickedWhims and install it again.

5. Update. Outdated mods are the most common issue when a game update occurs and you might not be even aware of it.

Crashes caused by Custom Content
Any outdated Custom Content like clothing, additional objects, edited tuning or other new content can cause crashes! Additional content to WickedWhims animations, penis replacements, skin replacements and extra objects are no exception to this rule. Custom Content is generally the most common issue of the game crashing.
 
Make a copy of your saves (Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4\saves) and try removing all Custom Content you have. Load the game afterward and see if the problem persists. Remember to remove everything, don't assume that something can't cause issues, no exceptions!
 
Crashes caused by Script Mods
Less likely, but still possible, are crashes caused by script mods. The reason for them being the lesser evil is the nature of the code they are running which is protected from ending the game process and crashing. Where it's still possible, it's rare that script mods will cause the game to crash and WickedWhims is classified as a script mod.
 
Since generally, you're looking to have the script mods (like WickedWhims or MC Command Center) running you don't really want to remove them. If removing Custom Content didn't help then look into posting any exception files that are being created by the game.

I have a problem with the expansion get to work when your mod is active. In the doctor carriere pregnant sims are not showing and in the detective carriere the suspect is not turning up.

I hope you can help me because it is very frustrating.

Please include how things should be working because I don't have much experience with the Get To Work expansion to know exactly what could be wrong.
