Recommended Posts

Hi' date='

Can someone please tell me how to gloss XeoElf_Head001?

GlossMax is skipping it somehow... Did you have this problem also?

Thanks!

Open your head mesh mesh with nifskope, left click the head then open then on the left click the "+" on your head's category. Double click the paint pallet button then set glossiness in the bottom to 100 :) or manually edit it bellow is a word "glossiness" to 1000.

Hope this helps

The main problem if GlossMax skips a body part: That Nif's material property isn't set to 'skin' but something different like '3- Default'.

It can be changed by opening the material property palette and simply typing 'skin' in place of whatever else the material is called (in the top line of the palette). But setting glossiness to 1000 certainly is the far superior way to glossify a mesh. Never liked GlossMax much anyway.

Doing it in NifSkope is better. One it can be set higher and it will do 99% of stuff unlike GlossMax.
