thizzlamic1 Posted December 30, 2016 Posted December 30, 2016 I'm putting the finishing touches on my mod list for my next full playthrough, and am having trouble deciding if sexlab & friends have a place in it. So far, my load-order contains 194 plugins, but I'm not sure how script-heavy it is. Here is my load-order: Skyrim.esmUpdate.esmDawnguard.esmHearthFires.esmDragonborn.esmUnofficial Skyrim Legendary Edition Patch.espSkyrim Project Optimization - Full Version.esmRaceCompatibility.esmApachiiHair.esmApachiiHairFemales.esmRSkyrimChildren.esmWM Flora Fixes.espEFFCore.esmCampfire.esmhdtHighHeel.esmHighResTexturePack01.espHighResTexturePack02.espHighResTexturePack03.espUnofficial High Resolution Patch.espCutting Room Floor.espSTEP Vanilla Optimized Textures - Standard.espSTEP DLC Optimized Textures - Standard.espdD - Enhanced Blood Main.espdD-Dragonborn-Dawnguard-EBT Patch.espAppropriately Attired Jarls Redux.espEyesFix.espRelightingSkyrim_Legendary.espPCE - USLEEP Patch.espHunterborn.espHunterborn_Campfire_Patch.espFrostfall.espPalaces Castles Enhanced.espJKs Skyrim.espELE_Legendary_Lite.espdD - Realistic Ragdoll Force - Realistic.espSkyUI.espTradeBarter.espiHUD.espChesko_LoreBasedLoadingScreens.espRaceMenu.espRaceMenuPlugin.espFootprints.espBrows.espFNIS.espXPMSE.espRaceCompatibilityUSKPOverride.espThe Ningheim.espRaceMenuMorphsCBBE.espFNISSexyMove.espKS Hairdo's.espTheEyesOfBeauty.espRemodeled Armor - Dragonborn.espSkyrim Particle Patch for ENB - Flame Atronach Fix.espFISS.espSkySet.espSkyTweak.espRSChildren - Complete.espRSChildren - CRF Patch.esptowConversation.espESFCompanions.espRealisticRoomRental-Basic.espFantasy Soundtrack Project.espFixCombatMusic.espUIExtensions.espThief skills rebalance for Ordinator.espWildcat - Combat of Skyrim.espBounty Gold.espWetandCold.espAOS.espGuard Dialogue Overhaul.espWeapons & Armor Fixes_Remade.espWeapons & Armor_TrueOrcish&DaedricWeapons.espClothing & Clutter Fixes.espCollegeOfWinterholdImmersive.espComplete Crafting Overhaul_Remade.espDisparity.espComplete Alchemy & Cooking Overhaul.espSkyFalls + SkyMills + DG + DB.espOBIS.espPoint The Way.espThieves Guild Requirements.espTheChoiceIsYours.espInconsequential NPCs.espSPTConsistentOlderPeople.espCollege of Winterhold NPC Impovement.espNPC_Overhaul_V_2_.espRemodeled Armor - Vanilla Replacer.espThe Ordinary Women.espThe Ordinary Women - USLEEP.espBijinAIO-2016_3.1.1.espBijin Warmaidens.espBijin Wives.espBijin NPCs.espRelationship Dialogue Overhaul.espSBF DB-Inisiate.espOCR-Fixes.espRemodeled Armor - Vanilla Replacer - Dawnguard.espRemodeled Armor - Vanilla Replacer - Dragonborn.espRemodeled Armor.espVivid Weathers.espVivid Weathers - AOS patch.espVivid Weathers - Extended Snow.espVivid Weathers - Extended Rain.espVividian - Torches Preset.espToccata as Elisif.espSeductress Serana.espWeaponsArmorFixes_ImmersiveWeapons_Patch.espimp_helm_legend.espWeapons & Armor_TrueWeaponsLvlLists.espRemodeled Armor - Dawnguard.espInconsequential NPCs - CRF Compatibility Patch.espSMIM-Merged-All.espImmersive Wenches.espDeadly Wenches.espMoar Deadly Wenches.espImmersive Patrols II.espSkooming Skyrim by BigBizkit.espSkyrimImprovedPuddles-DG-HF-DB.espFarmhouseChimneys.espSkyFalls Dragonborn Small waterfalls.espRealisticWaterTwo.espRealisticWaterTwo - Legendary.espBandit Patrols.espSkyrim Flora Overhaul.espOBISDB.espImmersive Wenches -KS hairs- Patch.espDSHg - Circlets.espDSHg - Hats.espDSHg - Helmets.espDSHg - Hoods.espCFSeptims 1000-1.espImmersive Speechcraft.espPatch - Inconsequential NPCs - RS kids.espTimingIsEverything.espNoSneakAttackSound.espEFFDialogue.espRDO - EFF v4.0.2 Patch.espRDO - Cutting Room Floor Patch.espBound Armory Extravaganza.espRDO - CACO Patch.espCACO_AOS_Patch.espCACO_USLEEP_Patch.espCACO_CRF.espHunterborn_CACO_Patch.espHeartBreaker.espVioLens.espConvenient Horses.espConvenient Horses - Unique Frost.espCACO_HeartBreaker.espBetter Vampires.espEmbersHD.espWetandCold - Ashes.espiNeed.espCCO17ObisPatch.espApocalypse - The Spell Package.espOrdinator - Perks of Skyrim.espCACO-Ordinatored.espApocalypse - Waterstride Spell Addon.espApocalypse - Ordinator Compatibility Patch.espPCE - SPO Patch.espPCE - Inconsequential NPCs Patch.espDeadlyDragons.espNARC-Deadly Dragons.espNARC-ConvenientHorsesConsistencyPatch.espAOS2_DD Patch.espAOS2_RealisticWaterTwo Patch.espUnique Uniques.espAOS2_WAF Patch.espRayg_NoBYOHAttacks.espAMatterOfTime.espFNIS_PCEA2.espSOSRaceMenu.espAOS2_WetandCold Patch.espChesko_WearableLantern.espHunterborn_WearableLantern-Patch.espVividian - Wearable Lanterns Preset.espSummermyst - Enchantments of Skyrim.espComplete Crafting_TrueWeaponsLvlLists.espSkyCompleteLegendary.espAddItemMenu2.espSofiaFollower.espRecorder Follower Base.espCassandra Frost Witch.espCeles Nightingale Armor.espDaedric Reaper Armor.espEmfy Cleric Robes.espGwelda Dawnguard Armor.espMerta Assassin Armor.espMerta Assassin Tattoos.espMerta Black Rose Armor.espSotteta Necromancer Outfit.espTribal Tattoo Overlays.espTembtra Thief Armor.espTERAArmors_CBBE.espBashed Patch, 0.esp If anyone could glance through it, and give me an idea of how script-heavy it is, I'd appreciate it. Wolborg Posted December 30, 2016 Posted December 30, 2016 Also, is there a way to tell through TESVEdit, or something like that? Maybe Papyrus Log Viewer can make some things clearer. It lets you see how many times one or another message turns up in your Papyrus logs.
Barzing Posted December 30, 2016 Posted December 30, 2016 Number of plugins has nothing to do w/ script latency. The number of Scripts you have won't help you too. I see you have convenient horses installed, there is a script latency check in the MCM Menu on the first page to give you an idea.
thizzlamic1 Posted January 1, 2017 Author Posted January 1, 2017 Number of plugins has nothing to do w/ script latency. The number of Scripts you have won't help you too. I see you have convenient horses installed, there is a script latency check in the MCM Menu on the first page to give you an idea. Yeah, I understand that not all scripts are equal (e.g., that a single script constantly checking for things can cause a lot more overall latency than several scripts that run once, or that two functionally similar scripts can have very different performance impacts based on how efficient their code is). I was hoping that people would be able to indicate which of my mods would be the most likely to cause problems, particularly in a full playthrough. Following your advice, I sprinted through a freshly loaded Solitude while it was raining (assuming that would cause Wet and Cold to work harder), and averaged about 60ms from the front gate to the Blue Palace. Is that sufficient, or should I try it in different locations? Also, I've since swapped out convenient horses and better vampires for immersive horses and sancrosact, as I've read that the latter two are quite a bit more lightweight. I do have Jaxonz Diagnostics, though, so I can still run a latency test. I appreciate the help.
Barzing Posted January 4, 2017 Posted January 4, 2017 You will probably start to lag a bit with Sexlab and "friends". Best thing to do is to install them and test, much sexlab mods give the possibility to configure the scripts loop.
9tailedfox Posted January 4, 2017 Posted January 4, 2017 does your game shoot itself when you play? Do certain things take decade to load(using alchemy table waiting years for it to load items) does papyrus run away from you? have you used the save tool and looked at active scripts? does your renderer feel out of shape? if none of these apply, then you have less scripts than me
