fallout 4 ini file help

When I launch nexus mod manager it gives me a warning message saying could not find fallout 4 ini file. please run fallout 4 before installing any mods. well Ive run fallout 4 regularly and through nmm. I am still getting this error. Should I ignore it? or will it cause errors?

Means it wants you to change the read-only setting for the .ini file before it can do its thing.

FYI: (don't modify the following by hand, let the mod manager do this for you)

The files that NMM are going to update are located in the hidden folder at:

C:\Users\---YourComputerLoginName---\AppData\Local\Fallout4\plugins.txt
