sharonasbar12 Posted December 5, 2016 Posted December 5, 2016 Whenever I fast travel or approach an area with npc's I get a stuttering effect for about 10 seconds; like it's trying to load things in the area. Is there a tweak in the ini. file I can do? Maybe buffering or something. I am using the Crash fix mod and using the less stutter file. Using the other file really makes it stutter (jerking) a lot more. Please help if you can. Thank You.

Their legs go like their running but not moving that fast. I can literally outrun my horse. player moves fine BTW.
yatol Posted December 5, 2016 Posted December 5, 2016 messing randomly with ini is a bad idea only thing to do is try hundred of things to find the bottleneck (after backup of original files to not have to reinstall for your fails) don't know why no gpu in that thing mods vs vanilla my bottleneck is my 633 mhz ram (thought i had 1333 mhz, wops), will be the cpu after upgrade there's a difference it was supposed to save all 4k _n to uncompressed 2k (read something about cpu decompressing textures last year, using ddsopt to test that take too much time)
allsunday Posted December 6, 2016 Posted December 6, 2016 Do this. http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/50214/? It really does work. I swear. I skip the Memory Blocks and Texture Optimization sections though. I didn't find it too helpful.

Started from a basic set up and adding as I go waiting for it to change.
