bob223355 Posted November 16, 2016 Posted November 16, 2016 So I've been adding physics to outfits recently and I've heard you can only add physics to one armor mesh at a time. I've been doing this all in bodyslide via bone weights from a reference body. My question is; can I have a setup with multiple physics? Example. Breasts, skirt and belt/sash? I know previously when you export the body it wants you to pick a physics source and if you have 2 it has 2 different sources. Any way to change this? or do they have to be separate files?
ousnius Posted November 17, 2016 Posted November 17, 2016 Not possible, the engine only loads one BSClothExtraData block from the NIF. And there's no way to merge multiple cloth data blocks into one (and if there's one, it involves super complex manual XML editing that nobody fully understands for Havok). The only workaround you can make use of, is to separate the skirt into its very own item and NIF.
bob223355 Posted November 17, 2016 Author Posted November 17, 2016 That's what I feared. oh well. Thanks for the helpful info. Mods feel free to lock this thread.
