Selvs Posted October 25, 2016 Posted October 25, 2016 After starting the game and selecting new, continue or load I get the loading screen before it crashes back to desktop. Have tried Loot and TES5Edit but can't seem to solve problem. AwesomeJames2120 Posted October 26, 2016 Posted October 26, 2016 Have you tried entering "coc qasmoke" into the console, THEN loading your game? That usually does the trick on my crummy computer here.
Unrobed Posted October 26, 2016 Posted October 26, 2016 If your game just crashes when you load a save game then try this mod http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/78557/? it solved the problem for me! Do you use enb? Even just for the Enb Boost?

What's most likely happening is that you miss a requirement (mod another mod requires). If you use Mod Organzer it will tell you which mod is missing (and which one wants it), check the red triangles in plugins. I have no clue where to look with other mod managers, though. Beside that option, you run several mods that can cause trouble, did you install all at once? If you don't miss any requirements, try to figure out which one causes your crashes. Start a new game with much less mods, if that works add 5 more and so on until it crashes again, then hunt it down to a single one. If that's one you'd really like to have, uninstall all except this one and it's requirements and if that works, go the same way again, until you know which other mod conflicts with your favorite.

Nazzzgul666 Posted October 28, 2016 Posted October 28, 2016 About some i've just read that they can cause trouble and sometimes only with certain others, since i don't use them myself, i didn't memory which is troubling generally or which combinations.. but here you go: Current version of SD+ seems to cause trouble, not sure if there is an update yet. OBIS Spectator Crowds. By no means this is a full list, just some i know they can cause trouble. But still, none of them even combined should cause a game crash at start. Do you use MO? If not, try TES5edit or something, that should tell you about missing masters either, maybe even Loot, not sure. And if you don't use MO, have this happening a second time and don't want to have a lot of work in a future third time... you might consider switching to MO. It's a bit complicated in the beginning, but there are very good tutorials around, and once you have a proper setup, debugging is MUCH less work.
