thatTESguy Posted June 8, 2012 Posted June 8, 2012 Update 2: -Properly working tail model. -Cleaned up archive. -Changed esp name for clarification. Please disable your old esp. NOTE: - This replaces your skeletons with the beast skeletons for male and females. This isn't a problem, unless you're using custom skeletons. If so, don't copy those files and replace your custom skeleton with a beast skeleton yourself. - May (will probably not) work for custom races. You'll have to go into the esp and fix that yourself. See http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/13995 for more info. - Technical info: I did this by copying the BGED block from an existing tail onto the new armor mesh. See here: http://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/topic/714802-custom-tails/ 4shared reupload: http://www.4shared.com/rar/Ie5hOX-8/Demon_armor.html'>http://www.4shared.com/rar/Ie5hOX-8/Demon_armor.html -------------------------------------------------------- This was a fun project, made more so by the fact that the anatomy is all screwed up, I had to skin the whole thing by hand (no rigging data), and various nifskope problems. Some UV distortions but overall looks OK for now. Updated: All known issues fixed. Arms may clip with each other (but skyrim does not have any four-armed model skeletons unfortunately). Did not rig tail to the beast skeleton (so it's static). Everything else looks good. (Forgot to mention: rename diablo_body_tail.nif to diablo_body.nif if you want the tail to be tapered. I just left the original file as is to leave it potentially riggable in the future if we get a properly working combined skeleton (as in oblivion). Remember we only got the maximum compatibility skeleton several years after release. See screens below: 4shared reupload: http://www.4shared.com/rar/Ie5hOX-8/Demon_armor.html Craft under Daedric or "help demon 4".
Guest Posted June 9, 2012 Posted June 9, 2012 Makes me rage against Adria again...[spoiler=don't read if you haven't finished Diablo 3 atleast once]god how I wish I could've chopped her head off after her betrayal in D3. Poor Leah :/
thatTESguy Posted June 16, 2012 Author Posted June 16, 2012 Preview screens. I need to get back to a real computer (i.e. not a laptop) to finalize this. Head mesh is unfortunately empty if looked from below (because obviously there's no geometry there in the actual game). Other than that, no obvious problems. Retextured, 4096x4096 with new normals. (blizzard's orig textures were a soupy 1024x1024 mess).
Force2013 Posted June 16, 2012 Posted June 16, 2012 Could you do a tutorial on how to get one model like that into game just the model. please do not make me beg ít would help me alot to be able to make my mods.
HorrifyingSalami Posted June 17, 2012 Posted June 17, 2012 Looking forward to seeing it released, I'll be using this alot on my Daemon warrior
thatTESguy Posted June 20, 2012 Author Posted June 20, 2012 Posting the stuff in first post. There's really no shortcut to doing this, roughly I did this: 1. Googled "extracting diablo 3 models" (This came up which was helpful: http://forums.runicgames.com/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=23069 ) 2. Found out that the model imported w/o the skeleton (makes this so much harder) 3. Manually adapted the mesh to the skeleton (I'm sure lots of posts on here on how to do this. Mainly I used 3ds max to soft select, shift in edit poly mode, and also some relax). This takes a long time to a REALLY REALLY long time depending). 4. Use Skin Wrap to do a rough skinning to a skyrim body (this is fast) 5. Try it out in game (after Nifskope editing, again there are posts on this), and fix polygon explosion issues with more skinning - again takes a really long time, and is never perfect esp around the joint areas. 6. Fix stuff until I'm satisfied or give up, or both.
thatTESguy Posted June 20, 2012 Author Posted June 20, 2012 Also, google nDo2. Helped me a lot with making those ultra high resolution 4096x4096 normal maps.
Rated X Posted June 22, 2012 Posted June 22, 2012 I just had a idea! Should make a addition to this armor so when you equip the mod... (wait for it) (dramatic pause) every faction hates you and tries to kill you! And add Sanguinare Vampiris to it as well! What you think?
HorrifyingSalami Posted June 23, 2012 Posted June 23, 2012 this armor is only for female? SPOILER>DIABLO 3 Yeah because in Diablo 3, Diablo is a woman and this is a port from Diablo 3
thatTESguy Posted June 24, 2012 Author Posted June 24, 2012 this armor is only for female? Works for both male and female, however.
Jormungandr Posted June 27, 2012 Posted June 27, 2012 http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/19516 Intelligent man, very intelligent ....
davide23padova Posted July 7, 2012 Posted July 7, 2012 will be good a trasformation spell like the one on this mod "[WIP] Dark Knight & Paladin Workshop (http://www.loverslab.com/showthread.php?tid=8349" for wearing the armor
a666 Posted July 16, 2012 Posted July 16, 2012 Mediafire links are down, could someone reupload the last version? By the way the screens look awesome can't wait to try it.
Varia Posted August 8, 2012 Posted August 8, 2012 Bumping for interest. The models look good, but the mediafire links are down. :/ Nevermind! Found a mirror on a russian site: http://www.playground.ru/files/tes_5_skyrim_obliche_demona_diablo-59303/ It seems to be version 2 (with tail). I suppose if it exists... It's been uploaded to at least 5 different russian and chinese sites...
Razzy Posted August 10, 2012 Posted August 10, 2012 The copy available on the Russian site seems to have been modified. It wouldn't show up in the crafting menu, even once I changed the weird gibberish names (probably in Russian) into some real ones. Had to add them via console in the end. Still, even then, only part of it shows up in game. The helmet, boots and gauntlets show up, but the armour won't. I tried modifying it in CK, but I can't find what's wrong with it. cya Raziel-chan

[i didn't see wings in the original one]
