Sexout Crowd and Companions

Definitely something wonky with scripting and follower NPCS. I use a mod that allows multiple Followers (Followers Cheat Menu) and had Boone, Veronica, and Sunny (improved sunny mod). Whenever a follower was part of the cheering crowd, 1 or more would "lock up". They stopped following, and telling them to stop and start following did nothing. If I involved them in a sex scene they would return to normal (not that I'm complaining about more character sex). Eventually, Sunny stopped responding at all. Even dismissing her completely and rehiring did nothing. On a second playthrough, this happened with a slave (I am using the Slavery Simple, Expanded, and Slave jail mods). At a certain point, the slave stopped responding at all to following commands, etc (although sexout mods still worked - SmallerTalk, etc). Couldn't have a slave disobey, so blew his head off. But this has come up twice now with follower types. I did try using the reset suggested in the original thread (console - PlayIdle SexoutReset), but it didn't work. Turning off the mod prevented this from happening to other followers. Maybe not include followers in the Crowd?

 

Also, a request to add masturbators to the crowd. Makes sense, but understand that could cause other issues.
