Crashing on leaving starting cell?

I can load save games fine, but starting a new game and leaving the starting cell on LAL as soon as the the next area loads it crashes.

 

this is the first time CTD's have got me stuck enough to look for help

How are you leaving the cell? Specifically, which scenario are you using, or are you taking the "I want to escape this cell" option? Is it something outside the jail, or something that happens whenever you sleep in the LAL bed?

 

EDIT: You might consider upgrading to USLEEP instead of USKP. The LAL page "strongly recommends" this.

I can't see any reason why that would matter, because LAL doesn't actually require that mod nor does it use any of its fixes directly integrated (as far as I know), but it's worth a shot.

doesn't matter which starting scenario i choose. i've tried all of them that come with the regular LAL including vanilla start.

 

I starts to load the next cell and the quest pops up on screen and then it CTDs.

 

Edit ok i'll try the USLEEP instead of the the individual patches but last time i tried it i couldn't get other mods to work that required the regular patches.

Update changed over to Usleep and reinstalled everything from scratch. I started a new game and played until i got to Riverwood, and it CTDed. now its back to not letting me leave the starting cell.

I don't see anything in your load order that jumps out as a potential cause. I also don't see anything particularly problematic in your papyrus log, but that doesn't necessarily mean anything - the log will stop before the crash, of course.

 

My suggestion would be to disable mods one at a time and see if you can find a single mod or combination of mods that's causing your problem. It's a lot of work, but it'll probably get you there.

Apparently the custom couriers from the new captured dreams is what is causing the problems.
