maybenexttime Posted May 31, 2016 Posted May 31, 2016 Logically, when looking for an effect, one would go and look through enchanting to add a effect to the weapon. Problem for me, "Deadeye" or something like DLC03slowtimewhileaiming is not there. How do I add the "Deadeye" effect to a weapon of my choice by CK? Thanks.
CanadianBlueBeer Posted June 1, 2016 Posted June 1, 2016 you need the legendary attach point (ap_legendary I believe) then add the weapon mod itself. The game generates legendary items dynamically. Load up my cache mod in CK if you want and look at the 2 weaps I made. (and my trenchcoat has a legendary, so it's got the armor mod) Have to go to work, or I'd fire up the game machine and CK and get the actual points in CK. (going by memory and only 1 cup of coffee)
maybenexttime Posted June 1, 2016 Author Posted June 1, 2016 Do I click on "Collect from 3D" and type in "ap_legendary"? After that is there a way to add a "deadeye" ability to the gun manually? Not other random legendary effects.
CanadianBlueBeer Posted June 2, 2016 Posted June 2, 2016 nope..... opening my mod..... ...waiting... drink beer.. have a smoke... waiting.... <hic!> oops, more beer.. tum tee dum... still waiting.... zzz... huzzah! loaded... open the weapon you are working on. You did create a new formid first right? good. now, below the collect from 3d, in that box, if you don't have ap_Legendary right click, choose ADD filter: ap_L and you see the ap_Legendary. click on it and say OK now click on OBJECT TEMPLATE middle just below skill. on main page. Now look for the box that says OBJECT MODIFIERS right click, select ADD Filter: mod_legendary_weapon now, choose the one you want. Now, if you want it to ALWAYS have the same name, under DESCRIPTION on the main page, put in the name you want. NOTE: if you ever change the other stuff in the weapon/item, you HAVE to go edit the description again. (just backspace out the last letter and retype, that's good enough) Drove me insane.
maybenexttime Posted June 3, 2016 Author Posted June 3, 2016 Wow thanks a ton! It worked Thank you for the instructions mate, appreciate it!
