The Game:
The story starts off in the world of Runda'almare, where a rift has appeared leading to our world. This isn't uncommon, however do to what happened the last time a rift appeared, the El'wen (Fae race of Runda'almare) are choosing to be cautious. You take the role of Tabitha, a not so normal Fae, who's been tasked with scouting the human world, and examining how they have evolved since the last rift. Though something isn't quite right, and the history books may have been lying about the last human world expedition.

Comments about pictures

 

 

As I said before I edited my post. Every women is busty. I personally think it is a problem for immersion, at least for me. (Love the lore book in the queens chamber BTW! Great immersion there)

 

I like Tabatha's size because she is tainted... Actually you did an amazing job on her! But why is Lily so big breasted? Lily who is an elf AND the youngest character but has the biggest breasts. Feels really cheesy, like total fan service. If it was just one character then that's fine. Some teens naturally have big breasts like that but they are 1 in a billion. I get it that you didn't want her to look tooooo young... or the SJW will come along and say that it is kiddy porn, which is not and is also insulting. Many women have smaller chests, but whatever I shouldn't get sidetracked.

 

Lady Astral is busty with an oddly revealing outfit... Maybe that outfit will be explained later. I thought I was going to eat my words with Maddy, but after your funny gag with her she ended up the same size as everyone else. Every character has a C cup or larger! I know this is LoversLab and people here lover fake giant boobs, but I recommend restraint.

 

I recommend that future female NPCs have a more varied size. I get the limited assets for the body, but if you have the chance I would alter the breasts for some to be smaller and some bigger. Have a few ridiculous ones here and there (especially in the human realm they can be implants and still be immersive). No need to change anything, not that you should change your vision for anyone but there is my opinion on the subject.

 

I'll never bring this up again but I felt it needed to be brought up.

 

 

 

 

Bugs / issues

 

 

Not sure if it's just me but the load times for the videos are pretty long, and then once they are over I had to wait a while for the audio of moans to load which took a while. That might be 100% my fault for having a slower older computer but thought I should mention it.

 

Entering the basement in the castle on day 2 crashed the game for me.

 

 

 

I have enjoyed your writing style so far.

• I really found the bits when you break the 4th wall enjoyable. Don't abuse it but good job so far.
• I also like how you let the player decide if they like an action or not. Most of these things make the decision for you and assume you are going 100% slut. Nice to have the choice.
• Only character that worries me is the Prince. He seems like a Trope but it is still early.
  Not sure why he needs to blackmail her to bed, as the prince he could just order her to do it...  Maybe his father told him she is off limits considering I think it is implied that they are actually blood related, point being I feel the Prince needs to be fleshed out a little bit more.

• I really loved that races book in Lady Astral room. It was sexy, but also very informational and immersive.
• I vote you remove combat completely, but thanks for giving the option to turn it off.

This is a very good start and something I am going to keep an eye on.

I'm actually right there with you on that, originally the main character, and Lily were much smaller. My beta testers said it made them look too young. I actually put in a couple scenes that sort of rag on my testers for wanting bigger breast. I did however refuse to go with the "giant oversized gravity-defying no woman in the world could walk with these torpedo boobs".

 

I should add that I don't own a whole lot of Daz/Poser content, so the characters will look vaguely similar to one another in terms of bodies and hair. I did alter the textures a lot in Photoshop however.

Updated the Beta to fix a few bugs. Beta .01a

-Fixed Game freezing on rare occasions when leaving the castle on day 2.

-Fixed Game crashing when entering larder cellar on day 2

-Removed sound effects from Animated Scenes due to several reports of them causing Lag and Stuttering. (Will add them into the movies themselves for next update)

-Fixed a few minor grammatical errors throughout the game.

I'm glad you and others like Tabitha, I swear I spent three weeks adjusting her features, crashed my GPU one day cause I was rendering a few dozen versions of her to get opinions from friends.

Lily I'm torn on, I have two versions of her, one where she is still petite, and the currently used version. I've only rendered the one sex scene with her, so I may go back and redo them.

Astal's clothing habits do get explained, partly in the next portion, and completely in Act 2. Tabitha even mentions if you ask about the "human world" when speaking with Astal, that she (and Lily) dress entirely different from the other women, though In Lily's case, she's just taking after her role-model, Lady Astal.

The Prince's blackmail is because Tabitha could potentially refuse an order, and in this particular case, she would, heck, she might still, that's a choice you get to make in the next part. But also, nobility fraternizing with the Tainted is highly frowned upon. Story Spoiler -

Especially in the case of this royal family, which as Lady Yusara states, are direct descendants of the Goddess Issan.

The Prince is however meant to be your stereotypical-power abusing-misogynistic-womanizer.

I like the original for a few reasons. Personally I like smaller breasts on more skinny women, it's a proportion thing for me, love big breasts on taller women! But I like it smaller on Lily for more artistic reasons. As I said before above, I like the original because it shows different people have different breast sizes. If Lily is small, then that makes Tabitha look in perspective even bigger and even more SEXY while keeping  both in realistic portions! ATM every women's breasts are pretty much the same. The bonus pic with all the girls together confirms this. Conformity on breast sizes isn't bad... It makes everyone feel a little generic but it's what most people like. You will offend less people with the bigger tits I'm guessing. Saying that the Mona Lisa isn't famous because she is gorgeous and perfect, the painting is famous because the smirk isn't the norm. (Trying to discuss an opinion and not imply it's the best choice is hard LOL)

I have a handful of ladies being introduced in days 2 and 3, and I just purchased some nice slider sets for Daz, so I can almost guarantee some variety. Finishing up the story line for day 2/3 hopefully this week, and begin rendering by the weekend.

 

-Side question for those with Stuttering issues, did the new Beta v.01a work better with the Sound Effects removed?

I'll check right now... downloading the update and will rerun it.

 

Removing the music solved my issues with the movies, the delay for it to start was removed, and the delay after is significantly reduced to acceptable levels.

 

I ran out of time to test 100% of it but this is what i got so far.

Yeah there's probably a lot of that happening, I've gone through and customized each and every map tile set I use with Photoshop, so when putting them in RPGMaker I tend to forget I have to set their properties for each tile. My testers caught a lot of them, but then I redid the Castle and Cellar Maps a day before I decided to release the beta.

-Fixed several typos and mis-colored text.
-Fixed a bug with the bathing scene that left the scene Black in some choices.
-Fixed a bug that caused Tabitha's avatar to revert to the default one when leaving the castle.

-Scenes between Lily and Tabitha have been redone.
-Added a slide during the talk between Lily and her father

-The bathing scene now has two different paths, with different slides and animations (Dependent on exploration before bathing)

-You can now toggle Movies on or off in Tabitha's journal. Turning them off will give an animation loop instead. These do not look as good, but can increase performance on older/slower machines.

I actually think you are doing the best I have seen at this type of game that uses pictures. Adventures of Tara is good, but the guy doesn't put the time into making all the characters into 3d designs, nor have any background in his images, so it looks odd. He also has some pretty major plot holes. It just lacks the polish that you have. Your images are amazing, and your humor and writing are great. The story also makes sense.

First of all, good job on Lily. I really like the changes. The reduction makes her look more waifish, but not loli. I appreciate that not every character now is big breasted.

 

 

I felt the 2nd day was much better than the first. Actually I have a few issues with the first day.

1. The guards trying to rape Tabatha seems wrong. Even if it is socially acceptable to use tainted as slaves (which is iffy at best but I went with it, ok in this case), they are in their lords castle. Guards fucking ANYONE in the open would be a notable crime. Would make much more sense if they lured her into the barracks, or that closet nearby. Not a huge issues but it does feel unrealistic.
2. I felt there seems to be some inconsistency with the characters knowledge of Tabatha. She has served this castle for 100 years, yet the guards don't know that she is the princess hand maiden, or what you call her Lily's maid. Even the King seems to blearily recognize her. If you are saying she JUST went through with her hollowing VERY recently then that makes sense, but that doesn't seem to be implied enough then. In my 4ish runs, I didn't see any text that made me think she just grew up recently. If she matured a while ago, then people would have noticed her... she is gorgeous after all! If she just turned then you might want to add a line somewhere so the players understand that.

Anyways onto the 2nd day.

• I liked that people didn't recognize the princess, commoners wouldn't know her.
• The chef... HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
• Loved the additional lore books.
• The option to talk to the captain of the guard after the oral rape is great. Makes the world feel a little more interactive.
• Love the additional options to choose how you feel about sexual content. Others normally auto assume your are a total slut, I like the choice.
• Lastly, I liked the scene with the Prince. I wanted to love it but I don't. I was expecting vaginal sex, and got either a flash or tit fuck. I think you were implying that he wanted more but pre ejaculated? He clearly stated he wanted to pop her cherry, so the dialogue could use a few tweaks to tell the reader more bluntly that he pre ejaculated intending to go further, or explain why he is going so slow.

Tabitha's Harrowing, a process I partially explain in the next update, was barely a year ago. It's mentioned once with the Princess, and again by Sage in a scene I just rendered yesterday. Basically think of it as a caterpillar turning into a butterfly. All the Fae Races go through this and their appearance depends on their lineage and the strength of their bloodlines. In Tabitha's case, she went from looking like a normal blue skinned Tainted Fae, to the more normal looking half-breed she is now.

I was going to go that route, but in the end I wanted Tabitha's first to be... different. Just felt she deserved a better first time experience than that of reluctantly being with a man she currently loathes.

I needed something that showed that no one cares what happens to a Tainted, but at the same time, that Tabitha was a little different from the normal Tainted. In the novel I'd wrote and based this game on, Tabitha did that by taking the punishment meant for another Tainted, but the guards wouldn't raise a hand against her.

 

This game being an Adult theme, I needed something else, potential rape was the route I went. The original scene I rendered and didn't use played out a little differently, with the guards knowing who she was, the prince watching, and Lily walking in to stop it, only to be manhandled by her brother for a brief moment.

Just a minor typo that's been in both versions so far.  The picture book of the various races in the Lady's room, on 3rd page with the Aclurians and the stone men.  The picture shows the Aclurian on the left, and the stone men on the right.  The text mixes of the left and right directions.

This is about Keepin' It In The Family

 

 

My initial reaction is that Keepin' It In The Family looks generic. From the pics, the mom and daughter looks the same age. They also have the same figure. Generally the Mother is a little thicker, and often pregnancy permanently increases breast size too. I'm assuming the girl is 18, so not sure why she is so stacked. True some people naturally are thicker, and grow tits early but this feels sooo cheap fan services. She is the same size as her mom at 18... bullshit. The mom needs to be thicker or the daughter needs to be thinner with a slight breast reduction.

 

Neighbors mother also looks 18 just like your mom. Same size, same shape. No sag on her breasts? Not even a little?

 

The prostitute in the school appears to be a different bust size!!!! As this 18 year old has even larger breasts than anyone else. Looks like this girl has fake implants, and no way a school would let her wear that outfit.

 

The teachers clothes are overly sexualized. She has the biggest breasts yet but still the same slim waist that everyone has. I have yet to be impressed by characters art direction.

 

Aunt and cousin finally someone non blond... but still same body with various DD to H cup breasts.

 

Every women is cut and paste the same. So it appears they are going a generic route for total fan service... Maybe the writing saves it, i'm still early in. Guess I'm just not a Michal Bay explosions guys. I want more immersion.

 

Map seems very unintuitive, it's so big with very few signs. Simple little things like a hospital symbol on the building could solve this. That bigness just makes it harder to find the thing you want. I'm annoyed i, allowed into random houses. I actually explored the map and the game crashed on me enter a spot not ready for me. Was told to go to Alyssas house with NO directions or description of what her house looks like. Poor design.

 

Unilke the Cocerter Chronicles, here the character reactions are mostly fixed. You seem stuck on being depraved.

 

I'll play the demo fully tonight, and see if the writing gets better.

He is just starting out on it basically.  He is learning all the rendering and doing a lot of this all by himself.  He has a LONG way to go before it's a really good game.  It has potential tho.  His new version, there are some major changes, and the renderings look a lot better.

 

He is open to suggestion on a lot of things, and at this early stage of development, I think he can be encouraged to improve on his game a lot.

I do this game by myself as well, but have a lot of free time to devote to it right now as I'm sort of unemployed at the moment. (I work but it's for room and board, no real money being made.)

 

I just started learning to render myself three months ago, and I can honestly say it's a pain in the ass to get it right. I watched a whole lot of tutorials, talked with a lot of veterans in the 3d community, I'm still learning new tricks everyday. Rendering is time consuming and boring as well...

 

Character bust take about 3-10 minutes a piece (I don't use lighting on the Bust). Avatars take 3 minutes per  walk animation as they're very small images. Most of my scenes render in about 30-40 minutes per slide, some maybe three hours per slide. Animations on the other hand I get ready and start rendering at night as they take upwards of 15 hours to render, so I start them when I go to bed, and wake up praying they turned out good.

 

Same with RPGMaker, only started learning that three months ago, but same thing, watched tutorials, talk to veteran creators, and experimented with what was possible.

 

My problem now, is that I don't know where exactly to release the game other than here, reddit adultgamedev, and one other site that I'm not sure if I can mention here or not. I started Patreon after getting quite a few emails asking if I was on there or telling me I should be on there. Honestly I could use the cash flow to purchase some new Daz content as my Male content is almost non exsistant.

Not all the NPC's have flavor text yet, it's something I'm working on.

 

As for visiting the Guard Barracks in the castle. I don't plan on any overly hardcore scenes till after the first chapter is done. I have plans, but I want to allow players to build Tabitha's "personality" first. All the choices being made in the game will open up various options in the later chapters. The Thug scene for instance sets the start of submissiveness if she enjoyed being dominated after refusing, reluctantly doing it and hating or liking it will likewise start her on other paths. A Tabitha who enjoys sex or is submissive would be more likely to enter the guard barracks knowing full well what could happen in a room full of sexually repressed men.

 

A dominant Tabitha on the other hand... well she'll have some fun in chapter 2 and a lot in chapter 3. The dominant path sort of starts when having sex with Captain Pritlyn and choosing to "take charge" Though the official start of that path isn't in the game yet.

I've personally always loved characters that break the fourth wall. Something about a character knowing they're a character and ultimately unable to change the outcome of their story has always brought a smile to my face.
