0ng Posted April 8, 2016 Posted April 8, 2016 Hi guys, I've just started modding my game yesterday. So far, I have no problem with costume modding. But when I tried to add some hair mods, character's hair just become bald. I'm using DLC Tool to mod costumes and Ink_reshuffle to mod hair but the hair part didn't work. Any help would be great. Thanks

0ng Posted April 8, 2016 Author Posted April 8, 2016 maybe this topic'll save your day, good luck http://www.loverslab.com/topic/47265-doa5lr-hair-and-face-guide/ Thank you. But I think that thread is about swapping, isn't it? I want to add a hair mod to character (ex. 2nd hair style for Honoka etc.) Not swapping a character hair with others. To be more specific, for example, ayane as wang yuan ji mod, the mod is including face mod and hair mod as well. I don't know how to make hair mod works. I followed instruction here http://www.freestepdodge.com/threads/pc-modding-tutorials.5818/#post-288333 but still no luck
tastefultoy Posted April 8, 2016 Posted April 8, 2016 I'm starting to feel like an AutoLink sales woman, but, yeah. AutoLink is probably your best bet. It's certainly the easiest. Here's the link (thanks, Chudoi!) http://bbs.3dmgame.com/forum.php?mod=viewthread&tid=5065534&extra=page%3D1%26filter%3Dtypeid%26typeid%3D21581 With it installed, all you'll need to do is to create a bald DLC mod. Then you place the hair along with a costume in the AutoLink folder with the costume number of the bald DLC mod and voilà.

But I'm just wondering if there is other method to add hair mod. Because when we use Autolink, the costumes which are not original in detail will not be selected by com opponent, right?
tastefultoy Posted April 9, 2016 Posted April 9, 2016 In fact it works even in story mode! Here's a tutorial that I've started yesterday: http://www.loverslab.com/topic/60138- I still haven't mentioned hair and face mods. I plan on doing that today. But the last bit of the tutorial shows how you can easily make it work in story mode.
