Redswift Posted March 16, 2016 Posted March 16, 2016 So I've tried re-installing Captured Dreams 3 times already on a clean save, but it always causes my game to CTD. Usually whenever I do actions that kinda require loading, such as waiting, fast-travelling and entering a new area. Sometimes, it happens randomly when I'm just running around. Is there any mod conflicting with it? Well, the safest bet would be to assume its's my load order. It's being sorted by LOOT. In the Captured Dreams Shop thread it mentions the following: Load order: Captured Dreams can be placed most anywhere in the load order with a few exceptions:- Scenic Carriages should be placed after Captured Dreams- Any addon files must be placed after Captured Dreams- Any mods that have items used by the addon files must be placed before the addon Still not sure in which order exactly to put it though... gravit Posted March 16, 2016 Posted March 16, 2016 Are you sure it's actions that require loading, or is it actions that require saving? Try turning off autosave on wait / travel and give it a go. Alternatively, keep quicksaving and note whether/when quicksaving crashes the game. If this is what's doing it, and the game is crashing when saving if you have certain devices equipped, then at least you aren't alone. Unfortunately, I don't know what to do about it.
Redswift Posted March 16, 2016 Author Posted March 16, 2016 It's not only when I have devices on. Ever since I accepted the delivery job, my game has been crashing all the time. As I said, either when loading / saving, or even after some time doing absolutely nothing. The weird thing for me is that the game didn't crash before accepting that job. However now, after re-installing the mod and it being supposedly reset, it crashes pretty much after the first loading screen, getting into the game.
