Bounty228 Posted February 28, 2016 Posted February 28, 2016 Trying to get the wolfs feet level with the ground here. I observed the  "Large power attack" animation and noticed you can bring the whole model down, but cannot figure out how to do it myself. Â
Bounty228 Posted February 28, 2016 Author Posted February 28, 2016 Nevermind. Figured out how. Select the specific bone, then go to animation > Bone Tool and turn it off.
AnubiSs2167 Posted February 28, 2016 Posted February 28, 2016 My advice - dont animate on bones Donno what animation you want to make but save yourself some pain and use rigs for everything more than playing around.

If the bones are what is causing 3DS Max to crash, then I agree. Fairly new to animating(Obviously), what's rigging? Alright, this is ridiculous. Everytime I scoot my mouse I am at risk for crashing.
AnubiSs2167 Posted February 28, 2016 Posted February 28, 2016 Something wrong with max then. But yeah riging allows to animate without touching the bones. http://www.loverslab.com/topic/36314-3ds-max-skeleton-controller-rigs-draugr-v0132-2015-09-22/ Use this to see how it works. Pornphile has made Human male/female , draugr and wolf/dog rig. I have made wolf, falmer and bear. They are lying around somwhere on my drive.
