Freezing on load screens (not infinite load screens)

hi

so ive had this probelm for a while now....

um

my load times are pretty normal, but on nearly every load screen that takes more than 5 seconds, my game freezes up and i can see the little windows cursor circle thing that pops up, and i get the message "the program has stopped responding", then, i have the options to wait or close it. i always just wait, and the game (almost) always loads.

it's really annoying, and i want to know if anyone can help me? please?

i have the game on an SSD, use a pretty light ENB, and have 2k texture for nearly everything. static mesh improvement, amidianborn, and skyrim HD. oh, and a fair amount of LL sexlab mods, but i don't think scripts are the issue, since my latency isn't very high (tested with convenient horses)

i can post my load order, enblocal ini, skyrim ini, and skyrimprefs ini if i need to. ill do anything if someone is willing to help.

Maybe it's something not related to Skyrim you could have some application running that wants focus. Try closing all applications that could do that and then try loading Skyrim again.

while skyrim is frozen what is its ram usage?

off the top of my head i don't know, but it seems to be dumping vram/ram whenever i go to a loading screen. which is normal, i assume. i keep track of this with MSI afterburner on a second screen

oh and while playing skyrim can sometimes go up to 4 gb vram usage, but it's mostly around 3200 on average. it uses a lot of ram too, but i dont pay attention to that. i've got 16 gigs so i doubt im running out of vram.

i've learned to live with this, since the game still loads eventually.... and rarely ever crashes while loading... so... yeah.

although if anyone has a solution, im sure one day someone else will have this problem and find this thread...and they'd appreciate the help, if anyone is willing..

try setting ExpandSystemMemoryX64=false and AutodetectVideoMemorySize=false.. download safetyload and set EnableOnlyLoading =false

i've had this same problem and this is what worked for me personally, worth a shot..

i see you're using redshift enb, according to the page, here is the how to install instructions

How to install:

-Download the latest enb files from here

http://enbdev.com/download_mod_tesskyrim.html

-Place d3d9.dll and enbhost.exe from the wrapper folder into your main skyrim folder. Usually located in C:Program Files (x86)SteamSteamAppscommonSkyrim

-Drop all files from this mod into the same folder, as is.

-Open your SkyrimPrefs.ini located in C:Users____DocumentsMy GamesSkyrim

-Change the following lines:

iMaxAnisotropy0
