Well you did ask for a mod, so you got deadly reflex. If you only wanted animation your gonna need to dig into bethesda\oblivion directory and look for death animation open deadly reflex and look for there death animation and replace the once from oblivion manually.

 

Apart from deadly reflex there is no mod who changes just animation. Then it's not a mod just animation replacer.

Does Oblivion use animation when an actor is dead? There is no such animation, dying actors may look like some kind of thrown ragdolls because the physical engine itself handles that. Unlike Call of Duties I mean.

 

I think you have really no option except Deadly Reflex. :s

No, not once have I ever seen an actual death animation in Oblivion.

They just ragdoll, you can tell because of the horrid physics.

 

Deadly Reflex really is your only option, especially now that Skyrim is out the chance of anybody making a death animation mod is pretty low.
