youngfool Posted December 19, 2015 Posted December 19, 2015 Last week, at my friend's behest, i got myself a copy of witcher 3 which was on sale, and been busy playing it ever since. It was a truly breathtaking experience. As a veteran Bethesda supporter, it was ridiculous and almost embarrassing to reminisce the notion that 'FO4 has secured the GOTY title' with easy, but in fact witcher 3 has proven to be overwhelmingly superior to FO4 in every regard. Having said that, I wish this post can serve two purposes: First, I encourage everyone whom are unfamiliar to the witcher series to give this game a chance, i said this with my whole heart's content that witcher 3 is one of the best game ive played and will easily go down in the annals as one of the greatest games ever made. Secondly, I encourage modders to shift their attention to witcher 3, as it contains vast adult contents to play with. Modders from Nexus has already produced a mod which allow player to play as female characters, and a mod to mute the main character (which has already been deployed in fallout 4), would complete the open world RPG feel of fallout and elderscroll franchise. http://www.nexusmods.com/witcher3/mods/1031/? Furthermore, modding tools are already available for access and can be found here: http://www.nexusmods.com/witcher3/news/12550/? In the "download the modding tools" hyperlink All and all, witcher 3 is a great game, i hope the modding community can take it to a greater height.
faggballs Posted December 19, 2015 Posted December 19, 2015 From what i heard the modding tools are complicated and lacking in options. So that's probably why people aren't really into modding that game.
PinkyAndTheBrain Posted December 19, 2015 Posted December 19, 2015 Officially there is no world editor nor exporters for 3D modeling software. There was a leak recently but it's old and too complicated to be useful without documentation.
youngfool Posted December 20, 2015 Author Posted December 20, 2015 But they are promising the full release of modding tools havnt they? perhaps after its DLC release.
Veta Posted December 20, 2015 Posted December 20, 2015 Read this ! Most of the team are now focusing on Cyberpunk 2077 and the rest on Blood and wine , (Cannot fucking wait for Cyberpunk 2077)
Guest Vendayn Posted December 21, 2015 Posted December 21, 2015 Witcher 3 looks really amazing! There is even an alternate player character mod. I chose to play as Ciri as I think she is beautiful as far as game characters go, and prefer playing as her here is the mod http://www.nexusmods.com/witcher3/mods/1031/? and a screenshot of my character For lighting/graphics I use HD textures, TURBO 2.0 lighting and a custom ENB. But I also have a fun mod that adds random encounters (easy to find as its literally named "random encounters") so its almost like Skyrim sort of with random attacks and stuff. Anyway my character...

Yep, the game have sooo much potentials, btw if you havnt know already, Ciri's tattoo have a rather interesting story behind it, search it up if you havnt. Anyhow, i strongly feel witcher 3 deserves a modding section of its own, on this wonderful site.
