Help modding a outfit

Recommended Posts

Ok, I have my outfit which I wish to change into the outfit Ada wears in RE4. It is almost identical but is missing some features to make it Ada's clothes.

What I have

- The style of dress she wears pretty almost complete, this includes the ribbons.

- The butterfly designs located in a second picture file on my computer to be moved onto the texture for the dress.

What I need

- A way to expand the dress shape so it matches the design.

The dress is only split down the left side. I need to somehow cover the right.

Any help which can be provided such as a tutorial or step by step instructions for a complete newbie at this would be great! :D

I'm not sure if I could explain in English or not.

From what I can tell, you need to learn blender or other 3D programs in any case. You see, Nifskope has nothing for advanced transformation. Actually making clothes using blender is absolutely easy (I'm not saying it's not time-spending) but well, every first step is the hardest thing. It is hard to explain without video or many pictures.

I suggest you an ....um..altarnative way. (You still need to use blender so it's 'partially' altarnative.)

What about this? this is PE dress from R18PN. I don't remember where I got this but you can find at nexus using 'dress' keyword or similar. Well definitely you aren't a noob so you can easily find or have already.

The Problem is, however, this dress is split down the RIGHT side. So here your choice is needed. You can simply think that left or right it doesn't matter, OR mirror and transform to fit original shape, using blender.

This is a tutorial pdf for Morrowind but basically OB or MW or SK are not so different.

I know some Oblivion-optimised my local language video tutorials but you can't understand -3-

Anyway 'skinning' or 'rigging' is difficult part at first but once you've learned the tricks then texturing becomes real challange.
