Hi,

 

I try to create a Load Screen based on Transsexuals.

 

I'm just a beginner about using the Creation Kit, NifSkope, and GIMP.

 

I got the idea from the mod Sextreme created by azdoman22, (who helped me also by the way, when I got stucked. Thank You...).
But, I could not create such a so detailed, charming artwork like azdoman22...

So, I needed picturized NIF's. I has noticed "xXxTonzaxXx MainMenu" once a while, and really liked it:

I used and little bit modified the .nif file. I changed in it .dds files that I modified in GIMP.

 

In the Creation Kit, I tried to add some sentences on the pictures.

 

The images can be blurry and in low resolution. I tried to make them look like paintings. And unfortunately, they've been in low resolution.

 

I did this as a practice to learn how to use the programs.

 

I just want to learn what are my mistakes, how can I resolve them.

 

I would like to hear your comments, suggestions.

 

If you want to improve it, and add more files in it, you're free to go.

Hi,

 

I didn't want to use real images/pictures. I wanted to let them look like paintings.

 

I don't think that it would slow down the game.

 

I used some plug-ins in GIMP to modify them. I have had no experience about GIMP. I just tried...

I do love that you are giving people like them some love but for naming purposes, those people are not transgender. Most people call them she-males but that is an offensive term. Not that I can remember the actual term for that gender. Transgender people are born one gender and transitioning to the gender they should of been born. Let me point out this is not a flame or anything like that, just wanted to give some info on a topic that is still kinda foggy. Sorry if you took this the wrong way, again I mean nothing mean behind this.

 

P.S I am a transgender female to male so I am not talking with no experience or idea.

I wanted to use the correct/popular term as a title. But, I have confused to find the correct one. I had to search in Google and Wikipedia. Then, I found the terms such as: Transsexual, transgender, she-male, futa, transvestite, he-she, she-he, etc... I wanted to use a term that most people understand, and without hurting feelings after some misunderstandings.

 

I'm a straight male, and have never met a transgender, or a transsexual. So, when I created this Load Screen's texts and Kalena Rios Follower's Dialogue, I had to use only my imagination.

 

Please accept my apologies for my very very little knowledge and poor English.

Maybe, you can help me to change the sentences or the topic terms by the right ones.

 

PS: I have a question: In porn websites, the category has been named as Transsexual. So, the term transsexual can be acceptable, or not?

I understand about it taking time. I've been working on my own quest/dungeon mod and since I'm just starting it's taking a while to learn everything to get it to work properly.

 

You are welcome, I believe that intolerance and aggression breeds the same. Besides if I was in your shoes I wouldn't want someone to be cruel for a simple misunderstanding.
