Can someone check my load order?

hey, i need help deciphering the proper load order for my mods and plugins. I just want someone to look at it an tell me what, if anything, I should change. i suffer from random freezes and I think I need a new processor, as my computer seems to go into overdrive when I play skyrim, but i want to make sure it's not the mods first.

Use Mod Organizer and LOOT - betweem them they generally sort out most problems. If you want advice on your load order it might be a good idea to post it :)

Indeed. MO is helpful but kinda fiddly to set up. You should definitely use LOOT to sort your load order and I suggest getting SSME if you often encounter endless loadscreens or game freezes.

i have MO and LOOT, but LOOT doesn't seem to do anything on it's own. you still have to tell it "i want this plugin here." and that's the problem, I don't know where I should put some in relation to others.

these are my plugins and mods. the unchecked ones I don't want active so ignore them.

I assume that your non-managed mods are installed into the Data directory of skyrim - if this so then it makes the job of MO (which gives good advice on mod sorting) and LOOT very difficult. A quick look through your plugins would seem to back this up as all the Unofficial Updates should be at the very top of the plugin order; as an example it should read:

Skyrim.esm (greyed out) - this is greyed out as it resides in your Skyrim/Data directory

Update.esm (greyed out) - as above

Unofficial Skyrim Patch.esp

Dawnguard.esm

Unofficial Dawnguard Patch.esp

Hearthfires.esm

Unofficial Heathfires Patch.esp

Dragonborn.esm

Unofficial Dragonborn Patch.esp

etc.

Your Hi-Res Textxure Packs should also be high up your load order - the brush symbol beside them also means that if they're ticked under the 'Archive Tab' they don't need ticked in the plug-in list (you have to let MO manage archives - there's a tick box for this when you open the 'Archive' tab)

Finally your plugins exceed the 255 limit so the ones at the bottom don't get loaded.

To cut this number down you could either delete some mods or merge mods which have a similar theme.

everyone has their opinions on mod loaders.

I've been using NMM's auto sort plugins and then TES5Edit since i can check if there is any clashes or incompatibilities.
works fine for me!

although sometimes i get a crash when loading...but it seems starting a new game then loading the save i wanted to tends to fix it.....

[sorry if i am wrong about this......sorry if the term NMM offends anyone....I've been on this site a bit and i do remember seeing some bad blood between one modding site and this modding site..]
