zarbar Posted May 3, 2015 Posted May 3, 2015 Just faced a very interesting issue. 3ds is fine to animate a skeleton, FaceGen to change face expression. But where is the bone or a tool to change the point my character looking at? How to control eyeball orientation? No bones, no plugins... i'm totaly confused.
gregathit Posted May 3, 2015 Posted May 3, 2015 You can enter those in the text commands of the animation, look left, blink left and so on.
zarbar Posted May 3, 2015 Author Posted May 3, 2015 You can enter those in the text commands of the animation, look left, blink left and so on. May i have a list of possible commands? Google is useless. UPD Found it! http://www.truancyfactory.com/tutorials/oblivion/ob_animation_textKeys.html But there is nothing about "look"
gregathit Posted May 3, 2015 Posted May 3, 2015 http://cs.elderscrolls.com/index.php/Facial_expressions_in_animations I may have been too hasty. To actually turn a head you need to use the neck bone and alter the animation itself. Normally an NPC will try to face you if you are talking to them. If you do alter the animation with the neck bone, they it will always look in that direction. Not sure if you are trying to get head tracking going or what.
zarbar Posted May 4, 2015 Author Posted May 4, 2015 Thanks a lot, man! Now back to my work, i'm about to reverse the famous CTTAddPose without Blender.
