lovers pk creatures problems

somewhere, i've done something wrong. or something else. i'm not sure. in the general discussion thread, it was stated that it seemed like i was missing animations.

 

i'm launching with the script extender, through the mod manager, with nothing save for the official add ons and lovers pk and the creatures plugin.

 

these creatures don't work. list follows.

 

first up, the deer and horse. they run away when attacked, won't try to rape or anything.

 

the rat, boar, sheep, spectral ghost, flam and frost atronarchs, will o wisp, baliwog, and dagon will attack, but won't rape. some of them, like the will o wisp will glow red like its trying to do that rape spell, but is getting blocked. the baliwog makes the noise like the spell is casting, but there's no sign of the spell.

 

the slaughterfish is the same way. on land it just flops about (i think its supposed to do that.) but in the water it will attack but not rape.

 

everything else works fine though.

 

also of note (this is what led the one guy to think i was missing something) dagon just kind of dances of place when summoned.

 

anyways, could someone give me a definitive "install this in this order" link list? to rule out human error as a factor (or eliminate it it one did happen)

i think at this stage i'm mixing older and newer archives trying to get it to work

djaxis, while the above description is a good, without seeing your current load order I can't really help you. Post it and we can go from there. There really is no load this first and then this type of list and there doesn't need to be as very few of these plugins overwrite anything.

fantastic that every listing of requirements i saw said nothing of this pack nor did i come across it anywhere.

 

except now... with anything save the official add ons, i get a crash to desktop at the bethesda logo.

 

and i just saw all the stuff that patch added.

 

so.. crash to desktop aside, out of the now dozens of mods i seem to have, what do i need to have enabled for creature sex?

 

don't need them roaming the countryside or impreganting me or anything, i just want to be able to summon them, have the sex work for all of them, and that's it lol.

Please post your full load order. You do this via OBMM by selecting import/export then view load order and then copy it and paste it here.

that's how it was spewed out by that omod thing.

 

am i the only one who misses the days when installing a mod (and getting it to work) was just a matter of dragging and dropping it, and when it didn't work it just meant you overwrote something with another mod?

Your load order needs a little help, which is why it is crashing. You have master files lower in your load order than the files that are dependents which means a CTD with the way oblivion works.

 

Please pop over to the link below and click on the technical assistance spoiler, then the example load order spoiler and reshuffle your lovers plugins to match it.

I don't recommend that you run rape struggle or pk extender as they require a bunch of messing with to get them to work right. Get used to and familiar with the rest of the lovers plugins and work your way up to using them "after" you become familiar with the way things work.

 

If you just want to summon creatures to mate with them (assuming your toon is female) all you need is lovers creatures (which you have) and the extended animation pack: http://www.loverslab.com/showthread.php?tid=184

 

Further note: TamagoBreak.esp is a miscarriage mod which significantly raises the possibility of them. It is optional to have this.

yup, that's all i wanted from the start, so if i enable those bits, do i have to mess with the load order any?

Yes, you have to fix your load order to get things to work properly. The OMOD file does not have the ability to sort your files into the proper order as it installs things, you have to do it yourself.

 

As to MBP - yea it is required and you did "miss it" as it is right in the OP under the very first spoiler titled "Description".

 

If you want to keep it real simple the just install the lovers resource pack, the lovers with pk base pack, lovers creatures and the extended animation pack I linked to above. Then you can have sex with creatures without messing with anything else. However you can't have kids or monster babies. Your call.

that's exactly what i was looking for from day one of trying to get the creatures thing to work.

 

seems i missed the extended animation pack.

 

which esps and esms would i need enabled for this?

There are no esm/esp files in the extended animation pack at all. It is just a package of animations for creatures to use.

 

The simplest way to go about this is uninstall the omod AIO file.

Then install these files in order:

1. lovers resource pack: http://www.loverslab.com/showthread.php?tid=29

3. lovers creatures: http://www.loverslab.com/showthread.php?tid=129

4. extended animation pack: http://www.loverslab.com/showthread.php?tid=184

 

Again, after installing the above go to the link I posted previously and using it as a guide place the files into the correct load order and enable them and have fun

followed the instructions in the last post exactly.

 

installed the files, in order, adjusted my load order...

 

and dagon still dances while the rest of the monsters that were broken previously still won't rape me.

 

the ones that did work, still work though, and not crashes, so the same boat is at least better than no boat at all lol.
