charlievoviii Posted January 10, 2015 Posted January 10, 2015 Correct me if i'm wrong: FPS limit in good ENBs is off anyway (afaik not recommended by boris to use it), instead you should have VSync=On which caps it for example at 120fps if you have a 120hz monitor. Might be a problem if your monitor has more than 120hz though. not if you have nvidia, turn off Vsync in enblocal.ini and skyrim ini. Use Nvdia control panel and turn on vsync there. You can also do half vsync also. So if you have 60hz monitor you could 30fps or 120hz monitor to 60fps. BTW VSYNC is only good if your game can constantly maintain 60fps or above. If it dips constantly under your monitor refresh rate aka Hertz, it's better to do half vsync and cut your game down to 30fps or else you get weird physics, another way for nvidia user is to use ADAPTIVE VSYNC. Also if your game dips under 30gps, well nothing will help you, use mods that your computer can handle and not what you want. Not sure if you can cut down the vsync on AMD video card, maybe AMD people can chime in.
