My Texture Mash-Ups (Mostly Dream Girl)

I'm really sorry if this is in the wrong forum or something. I'm a lurker (due to my social anxiety mostly), and I don't post much. 

 

What is this?

Just a .rar file with the accumulation of two year's work on body textures. Some of it is for CBBE and some for UNP; but I use Dream Girl Body, so that's what the bulk of it is for.

They are organized by Diffuse, Normal, Specular, and _sk files. In turn, each is organized by DG, UNP, and CBBE. 

I tried my best to credit everyone whom I borrowed from in the "readme" included.

 

Why post it?

I have been leeching off of this community for a decent while without contributing, and figured it was time I gave whatever I could back. Also not many people make Dream Girl texture conversions. 

(Even though it is UNP UV based, using UNP textures on DG bodies have some unpleasant seams around the hips, wrists --the mesh itself has wrist seams too--, and butt.)

 

Did you make these from scratch?

No. They are all mash-ups from pre-existing textures. I edited them and mixed them over and over, but I did not paint them myself. Each one was designed for a specific character I had once played at some point.

 

Can I just slap these into my Skyrim Data folder?

No and yes.

No, the files are not setup in the typical way that would ask you to simply drag and drop and be done with it.

Yes, they are in .DDS format.

 

 

 

I would ask you have a good understanding of what each file does and that you understand fully how texture file paths work. Personally I use ECE and the YgNord race for all my texture slapping needs since it's fully standalone in both body meshes and textures.

 

I hope I didn't somehow manage to spontaneously anger everyone. If this offends, I will remove it. If you have questions, I will try to answer. If you want to tell me how horrible I am at everything ever, please don't.

I also realized that the gloss setting on the body mesh kind of detracts visually from some of the sets, so my apologies.
