Thanks for the link velox. Agreed with burningsol, I have no talent for this kind of work and having never played morrowind or oblivion(just hearing, "oh yeah, tons of mods") and fallout 3 only on 360, the community is surprising the hell out of me with quality and speed.

I don't know if anyone else is having this problem' date=' but I've tried downloading this multiple times today. It seems to download properly but when I go to open it, it keeps saying the file is invalid. It shows up as being 6.7 MB as far as the file size goes. Any help or advice?

Hmm, not sure. You can try a different download link, it's of course the exact same thing, just uploaded from fizban007.

If that doesn't work, I'm not sure what the problem may be.

Are you opening it with 7zip, WinRAR, WinZip, or any other proper applications?

May I ask who this is directed to? I feel like I did something wrong but didn't mean to ._.

Edit: I'll try the other download link to see what happens.

 

Edit 2: Same thing happened. Windows cannot open the folder because the file is invalid. I got no idea why it's doing this. :/

 

Final Edit: Okay, I found Fizban's version of the link. it was slightly bigger filewise. Same thing happened, but after I opened it with WinRar I was able to access it. I'm still not sure what caused the error, but I was able to get it finally. Will be sure to give it a try soon. Nice job on making this, both of you, BTW. :)

sorry velox, i was directing that to a random thread spammer who posted the same gay porn picture (guy sucking dick) over 30 times

 

edit: sooo any news of fixing the shoulder plates? :D!!!, also may i recommend a lightning armor version without the shoulderplates at all? i think it would like quite sexy :P

I see, that's... quite disturbing, lmao.

 

As for the armor edits, I answered every question related to that matter already in the original thread post.

I wont be attending to any updates, I'm going to leave that to you folks, as I have no idea how to do so -- I only intended to post the original version of it (which I got lucky on).

What I will be helping with are technical difficulties.

Actually, what I do know what to do is how to edit the mesh of the nif. But from there on, I have no idea what to do.

So I could remove the shoulder plates, but after that the rest is up to you.

 

EDIT:

 

Hmm, seems I can also remesh a version without the skirt, by the looks of it.

Too late, already did the remeshes.

 

Without pauldrons:

Now, these are just remeshes. The textures in game might probably look rediculous. *shrug*. And to be honest, without the pauldrons or skirt, it looks like upgraded Eisen armor v.v'', and not Lightning's armor.

Sorry if I'm annoying anybody with a re-post but I was wondering. Is there anyway to get the game to display the skin textures for the arms in first person? right now with the armor equipped the characters hands just float out in space. Well it is comical it can get a little awkward after a while. Not sure why it does this and I have tried everything I can think of to fix it.

 

Again sorry for re-posting but this kinda got lost after that spammer jumped on here.

Heh, as I said, I have no idea what to do after editing the meshes. So I'll post the max files, the rest is up to the community.
