I'm not really good with computers I need suggestions.

I want to maximize speed and memory a bit and was wondering how I could do so. I am running a little hot right now and it crashes when it gets to hot so. I've never gone north of 180 mods until now. I can't really use enb's either I noticed I keep trying different ones to see if I can fin one. I would like to find one that will work for me if possible. I would like to boost the graphics a bit but not suffer on memory is there a way to change it without changing the settings in the options? Right now I'm running skyrim at the lowest I can. I need to buy a new desktop and can't afford it and this is my best computer. That will be for the future as for now I just want to make do with what I have. :)

I do have a load order conflict I can't seem to get resolved no matter how much I reset things in nmm and in data. I can't get it to in bash for some reason.  Complete Crafting Overhaul is supposed to be above Cloaks.esp but It keeps reverting down my list after a while. Bash Patch does the same and it is asking to be put above CCO.esp stated above^. It seems to not be hurting anything though. The only thing it prevents me from doing it using TES5Edit it will not load plugins until sort issues are fixed. This doesn't really matter unless I'm trying to find conflicts. I found one recently and uninstalled it cleaned it up since it was a small mod it was easy.

Things you can't see installed are obviously unpb, genox/favored soul flaccid, xpms skeleton, smoking hot menu fire replacer with spinning emblem and malukah song opening theme, and pre-cache killer ini preset along with skse memory file:

I'm going to be a bitch here (sorry) and say your problem is the highlighted text.

That is to say, most laptops do not come equipped with a separate graphics card, making the CPU do all of the legwork.

Having said that, I would recommend a mod that removes interior and exterior fog... it worked great on my old desktop computer that didn't meet the minimum system requirements for Skyrim.

Not being able to afford new gear really sucks, I should know. Wish there was a way I could help, but most of the time you just can't push a rig past its maximum. I wish there was something like what Oldblivion did... I recommend looking up performance enhancing mods. If your processor is heating up because it's got too much graphics stuff to do, just remove some texture mods or turn down the detail (though I see you've already got it very low). If it's having problems because of non-graphical calculations, well... there's not much you can do.

Have you tried running pure vanilla Skyrim, and seeing if that stops your heating problems? If they persist, you're really out of luck, sorry.

As for your load order problem, is the file moving down your load order on its own? How does that happen?

Did you clean soon your pc? (last 3 to 6 months ) Yup too much textures and animations , you can reduce some of textures that doesn't mater too much for you with ordnador.ini

Yes, I actually decided to crack it open with my fiance and clean out what little dust was in there. Just to see if that was why it was over heating. I also did a wipe a reload not too long ago. This is a fresh install as well. I'm thinking I may just have to push the mod limit back like the memory intensive ones.  Anything else I could try I like tinkering anyway I learn things this way.

Be careful with ordnador, it works about 95% of the time perfectly well. The other 5% of the time...

For me, one time I must have accidentally set the wrong toggle or something because it made every texture in the game flat and lifeless.

Still, it's a wonderful mod that saves both VRAM space and hard disk space. I generally didn't notice much more than +0 to +5 FPS change, but it did drastically increase the amount of time I could play before getting nasty purple and black textures on things as my video card ran out of memory.

The higher end laptops can do better gaming. Another problem I see is the CPU. 1.9Ghz is a bit low. Nowadays you need around 2.5Ghz just to meet the minimal requirements for some games.

I hope this isn't rude, but that is why I specified above what I did because I am very aware of the issue of Laptops. I also know a lot of enb that claim to be performance boosting usually aren't as good as they claim because everyone architecture is different. I just wanted to see if there where some other things I could look into.

I am grateful however for your response. Thanks for the speediness and your idea about the fog removal sounds reasonably good and I will try that. I actually have played vanilla skyrim on here and I noticed I can get away will a lot of mods like armors, clothing's, replacer's, even added world spaces. I just noticed some of the more memory intensive ones like the loverslab bog me down a little bit but not too much. I wonder if I can't run other immersion mods if it isn't a graphics issue.

I could also try better ventilated area although I usually play next to my floor fan.

As for load order I try to fix it in nmm and it does stay in wrye when it auto updates it just re-shifts it down it that makes sense. It doesn't seem that it is hurting game play or anything in game its just making more of a pain to use tes5edit like I was saying if I'm trying out new mods and looking for errors or incompatibilities. Similar to this guys problem I found online yesterday night. Just replace it with my errors esp wise.  "Fatal: <Exception: "Dawnguard.esm" requires master "Skyrim.esm" to be loaded before it.>

That's really true. When you get down to it, but what odd is I bought this for college and Its been working really great for me with everything installed and I rarely look for new mods anymore unless they are armors. It's funny but this has been the best computer I've ever had and I'd recommend it to anybody.  It plays skyrim rather well and was wonderful for those long bus rides home. It would literally last me the entire 2.5 hour ride home. Its just been recently really that I've had issues. I could be that I may have something running in the background as well too. I will check that. All in all it does well for what it is!

Not at all, and I do apologize if my own post sounded rude. I do tend to have prejudices against laptops, but you're right, the top of the line ones that are designed for gaming really are good at it, it's just my own desktop-vs-laptop ideology coming to the fore here. :)

Yeah, pretty much any LL mod is script-intensive enough that it can slow even the fastest processors. I'm pretty lucky, I haven't had as many problems as many people. Plus, many mods are generally in a state of alpha / beta, with relatively frequent updates and bugfixes, so the problem you found yesterday will be gone today, but a new one will show up that won't be fixed until tomorrow.

That makes sense... NMM is trying to do what it thinks is right, and Wrye is trying to do what it thinks is right...

I've never used NMM. Many people swear by it, many people simply swear at it.

If you're looking for a good mod organizer, I'd recommend BOSS. It's an older program, though... most people go with LOOT these days, but I personally have found one or two problems with LOOT... but maybe it'll work better for you.

And you may already know this, but whatever you do, don't uninstall mods in the middle of a game, and don't reorganize your load order mid-game either... both actions can cause some serious problems. Some people have even said they've experienced problems adding a mod mid-game, when adding and starting a brand new game works fine... but I don't know.

I'd recommend disabling some of your LL mods, especially those that run constant-check scripts... there are some pregnancy mods, for example, that run a script check once per second, and that can really slow the game down.

If you really don't want to get rid of those mods, some of them have settings in their MCM menus that can change how frequently they activate. Set it to a higher number and try again. For example, Zaz animation pack has its default update time set to once every 0.5 seconds for players. Set it to something like 5 seconds between checks and see if that helps.

I hope this isn't rude,

some of the more memory intensive ones like the loverslab bog me down a little bit but not too much.

As for load order I try to fix it in nmm and it does stay in wrye when it auto updates it just re-shifts it down it that makes sense.

Not at all, and I do apologize if my own post sounded rude. I do tend to have prejudices against laptops, but you're right, the top of the line ones that are designed for gaming really are good at it, it's just my own desktop-vs-laptop ideology coming to the fore here. :)

Haha that's funny I actually use BOSS I love it to death!!! So it sounds like I may have programs fighting for master say. Kind of like: my mom pulling the we installed a virus software on her computer and she thought she didn't have one and installed another so you have that whole fight for dominance thing. They both ping each other as a threat, but in this case it's just a load order discrepancy. I could contact the different authors of the programs and see if my information helps any of them. I do know they like it when we bring up feedback so the can better support there software/mods. Well as long as you aren't an ass about it or whiney. lol!

I can definitely agree with both I've had issues both ways. I have also found there is a certain install order people forget about. Like I haven't been paying attention to ragdolls and xpms and I went to do a clean install after not playing for about 5 months on pc. I went back to xbox to laugh at the glitches for a while. lol PS3 is worse lol the didn't give it enough support. But I found when I uninstalled and installed xpms first then ragdolls I was okay. Sometimes I rush and forget certain mod order, but in most cases it does hurt much.

I find mid game is the worst though. You need to be able to clear out as much old data as possible the registrations and even delete saves I found. Bethesda said this is a problem that isn't fixable on both xbox and ps3 with the bloating file issue but its manageable on pc.

If you are going to talk about these mod conflicts on the Nexus and ask for help, great... but whatever you do, DO NOT MENTION LOVERSLAB. The very word is anathema over there. Post your problem, by all means, but don't say you asked for help here first. Saying that you had dealings with this site is a sure way to get banned from there. :(

Be careful...

I'm very aware I keep it pg on there anyway this is there first I've posted my mods list. I don't intend to do it over there if I can help it. I only mentioned it once but in an email to a friend but only because they were creating a mod and I gave them a link over here for something a spell nothing fancy that the mod author was allowing use for others. That was how I found out, it auto blanks it in the emails. So I decided it was safe I didn't to it from there.
