Colourwheels Sexy Armor/Clothing mods

Is there way to make Colourwheels Sexy Imperial Legion not to replace all Imperial legioners and guards to females? I have already some mod that adds more female guards. I just want only to replace the armors.

1. Well, there is no "simple" answer I am afraid. A lot depends on your ability to use the CS and manipulate files. You could just replace the vanilla nif/texture files with the colourwheel ones. You will need to know the exact folder path and file names in order to do so.

 

Example: To replace the female legion cuirass you would need to place the new mesh here:

Oblivion\Data\meshes\armor\legion\f\cuirass.nif

If any folders are missing then you would need to add them. This scenerio is fairly easy and straight forward since the mesh uses a vanilla texture so all you have to worry about is the nif file. ALSO don't forget to archive invalidate via bsa redirection

 

2. Now if there are textures involved too then it gets slightly more difficult as you now have to find the exact texture path and place the dds files in it as well.

 

3. Course you could always just install colourwheels mod and then delete the esm/esp files and it may do all of this for you (you'd need to check the file structure to see).

 

4. Lastly if the mod is not designed as a replacer (meaning it doesn't replace anything in the vanilla game) but rather uses custom paths and you want the clothes/armor and NOT the esp/esm for some reason then just install the meshes/textures and and choose an existing esp to modify or create your own and add the clothes/armor to it.

I think I am having problem with another mod that makes current guards armor stay despite that I overwrote meshes which I had in game directory with Colourwheels Sex Imperial Legion armors.

 

 

I know for sure that this mod isn't Guards.esp that I am using.

Couple of culprits that may add a custom nif changing the vanilla paths:

RenGuardOverhaul.esp

Oscuro's_Oblivion_Overhaul.esp <--- most likely culprit.

 

Rather than hunt and peck through your meshes folder guessing which one to change out, just grab TES4EDIT: http://tes.nexusmods.com/downloads/file.php?id=11536 Drop it into your oblivion\data\ folder and run it. It will load up all your active mods.

Note: With your LO this will take a few minutes. Once it finishes you will see a finished note in the bottom right hand corner under the message tab. Then a bunch of tabs will open up on the bottom right. Click on the one that says view if it is not already open. Now go to Oscuro's oblivion overhaul.esp on the left and click the plus to expand the sub-list. Find armor and click the plus again to further expand the sub-list. Now find the armor you are looking for (in this case I am guessing that is the worn legion cuirass) and once you find the armor/clothing item in question on the left side, then look at the right side to see the mods that effect this armor. You can quickly find which mod is the last in the chain to effect this item as well as the path that the item is located.

 

Note: It helps to know the name and form id of the armor/clothing/weapon or even NPC to quickly track down what mod or mods are making changes to them.
