anyone know of a replacer (non skimpy) for the UNPB armor and clothes? i play a mage / rogue and want me some milkshake

i already use a texture replacer for all of the armors so if someone knows of a way to get animations only, also i already have the required mods and i get bounce whilst enjoying the breeze.

throw a dog (or a werewolf) a bone here :)

thanks for reading

http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/22168/? <---- With this you can use the UNP parts that don't cover the midsection (all the pauldrons, boots/shoes, gloves/gauntlets and neck parts will work fine on UNPB).

I just threw these in because they're pretty decent (I never play without these) for UNP/UNPB/Etc....

With these mods you can mix and match parts to make a unique mashup for sure. For a mage, barbarian, sneak-thief, pretty much any class or background. And you go from not-so-skimpy to full on slutwear at a moment's notice.

Now I only wish there was close to this much available for UNP TBBP/HDT and Venus bodies. Heck, even for Top Model for that matter.

As best as I've been able to find, there actually aren't any decent, non-skimpy UNPB replacers for the vanilla clothes at all, let alone UNPB with BBP. Only thing I've ever found that really comes close is exeter's UNP Female Armors, though I'm personally trying to find a replacement for it - he did provide a couple UNPB meshes as well, but most of the armors are only UNP, and, though I can't actually tell for sure, I'm guessing the changes the USKP made were never carried forward in this (exeter's last update was before the USKP implemented their updated meshes, so I'm assuming his work was based on the vanilla ones). There were also a couple small changes he made that made some outfits a bit more revealing, though for the most part they're far more subtle than the skimpy armor versions out there.

Only real alternative I know of is FastestDog's SevenBase Armors, which looks to be coming along great, but, as the name suggests, its based on the SevenBase body, not UNPB - the two are compatible, but the shapes are noticeably different, especially at lower weights.

Seeing that this is at least the second thread I've seen on this topic in just the past week or so, with a few other comments along these lines buried in the "Where can I find...?" threads... I wonder if it'd be possible to persuade/bribe someone into trying to do this? Clearly there is at least a modest bit of interest...!

(Also, heck, I'm sort of attempting to do it myself. By which I mean I have a vague idea of how to use Outfit Studio, and have come up with two or three conversions so far using it without completely butchering them. Basic clothing would probably be simple enough, but for anything with any notable amount of detail, it'd probably be necessary to use Blender or 3DSMax to do a proper conversion... and I haven't even the slightest clue where to even begin with either of those.)

thanks for the link to that hmm what to wear mod, that is going to be fun, and does anyone know if i'd just be able to copy the meshes (and by rights the animations with it) of those mage robe skimpy replacers, and use them for my opulent mage robes? in theory it would work right?

You could try it and know for sure. If this is a mesh replacement and the Opulent Robes is just a retexturing of the vanilla stuff then you should be fine, just be sure to let the OR textures overwrite the robes replacer. I do the same things with a couple mods. I place retextures after armor replacers in Mod Organizer's left pane so those meshes are what show in game.

I use the UNP versions of some of those. You can mash all sorts of stuff together. I also use a skimpy vanilla armor replacer (BBP and the Havok stuff still works) that I throw in the mix. It has some pretty decent long gauntlets and boots.

That HMMmm...What to Wear mod has a ton of stuff in it. And even though some of it appears to be armor (like leather and armor bits) they are still classified as non-armor, so if you play as a mage it won't effect any perks or spells.

The Bikini Trouble mod has black mesh and two versions of chainmail bikinis to throw into your armor mashup. You can literally cover every inch of your character with parts from these mods.

The opulent mage robes are just textures, I'm guessing? If so, yes, they should work just fine. It certainly won't crash, anyway - only problem you could run into is if those textures added any extra details beyond what were in the original textures, some of them might not line up quite right on the modified meshes.
