I think the area is called Fort Redman Hall of Judges. When I deactivated Bashed Patch.esp from the load order and entered FortRedman02 I had no crashes. Which mod should I skip while rebuilding my bashes patch so I no longer get the crash? I'd try moving everything other than the lovers stuff above the bashed patch and then rebuild it. Before you do that, start a new game and then go to the problem area and see if it crashes then. It could be you have conflicts built into your saved game. If none of the above works then I recommend looking at what type of NPC's are in the fort and then use Tes4edit to find what mods are altering those NPC's (or adding them) and that should help you hunt down the conflict.

He recommend to put them below bashed patch. I chose to put the below lovers anim plugins because wherever I put pm plugins I received crashes. Placing pm plugins on the bottom prevented crashes. It made my game fairly stable. I don't get random crashes. I either screw somethings up that leads to CTD or get location specific crash like in the fort Redman. Before you do that, start a new game and then go to the problem area and see if it crashes then. Damn it! I made my new game character go to the fortredman02 and got no CTD. It could be you have conflicts built into your saved game. It looks lie some conflicts built into the save game. Are there any solutions except starting a new game or loading an older save? I recommend looking at what type of NPC's are in the fort and then use Tes4edit to find what mods are altering those NPC's (or adding them) and that should help you hunt down the conflict. I checked the mod list and the trouble plugins are StarX Vanilla Vampires Revised.esp & Unholy Darkness.esp. StarX Vampires modifies the very dungeon where the crash occurs while I dunno what kind of maliciousness Unholy Darkness contributes to the conflict. There doesn't seem to be any wacko stuff when I compared two plugins. I managed to find a workaround. When rebuilding the Bashed Patch I deactivated StarX Vanilla Vampires Revised.esp & Unholy Darkness.esp so they wouldn't get into Bashed Patch. It fixed the crash.
gregathit Posted April 27, 2014 Posted April 27, 2014 Good job! Most crashes can be resolved in exactly the same way. As for cleaning your saved game......here is what you can try: 1. Disable all offending plugins. 2. Start the game and load your saved game. 3. After it loads (it may give you a prompt about missing plugins - ignore this) then make a manual save (hit the escape key and make a manual one). 4. Exit the game. 5. Enable all plugins and restart the game. 6. Load your newly created saved game and travel to the fort and see if you crash. The above procedure is often referred to as creating a clean save.
