UPDATE: I think I found the solution. I'll test the solution after I get some rest.

 

Hey folks, when I complete the "Hello World" tutorial, I load a save I use for testing. I use the console to coc as instructed.

 

When I activate the pillar, the message box doesn't appear, but I get a couple of strange debug notifications:

 

-Web dissolved

 

-All web restored

 

What I'm thinking is maybe one of my mods has a script that interferes with Hello World.

OK I got the Hello World script to work. I don't know what i did to make it happen, but I'm just glad I made it past that crucial first step in under a day and a half (it would have been sooner, but sleep and all that...).

 

There is no more need to keep this thread active.
