BlackArk Posted February 23, 2014 Posted February 23, 2014 Okay so I installed the injector version of the the enbseries. following the instructions on the realvision enb page but forgot to include enbhost and ran the game. Did not ctd. noticed the file was forgotten I put it in and ran it only to CTD upon loading a vanilla save game. All I did was: Install enbseries injector Installed Realvision. Enboost is supposed to be included in realvision so I did not change the ini. Added skse in the injector's ini file. Made the required changes to my MO ini files. Does anybody know what I did wrong?
Uriel Posted February 23, 2014 Posted February 23, 2014 What's in your enblocal.ini? Also, enbhost may be blocked by some protection to make your life more interesting. What OS are you running? Is it 32/64bit? Your RAM and VRAM amount?

Did you activate your ENB in skyrim folder as skyrimtuner ask you to do? I suggest when using injector watch some tutorials before installing it.

BlackArk Posted February 23, 2014 Author Posted February 23, 2014 Dunno if that couse crash but your videomemorysize say 10240 while it should be 1024 It was originally at 3096 and according to realvision enb ENBoost: please do NOT overwrite RealVision settings by installing ENBoost after installing RealVision! it's already included! use this TOOL to correct settings in enblocal.ini according to your hardware and as a base set VideoMemorySizeMb according to your VRAM, for example 2048 for 2GB graphicscard. but for better performance i REALLY recommend to increase VideoMemorySizeMb, use this formula: VideoMemorySizeMb = VRAM+RAM-2048 but the max. is 10240 ! So I did as suggested to see if that was the issue, and sadly it did not fixed it. Always had an issue with ENB, had to nuke my install a few times because I was frustrated i could not figure it out by myself.

Actually 3gb of vram and 16gb or ram I was actually running perfectly fine until ENB installation. SSME was working perfectly. Safety load seemed to be working without enb as well. If i delete the ENBhost.exe I can run the game.

OC pc crash Background programs crash Messing in ini files crash(if you not realy know what your doing, leave that to experst) Few examples. Logout in a single cell with no npc's around so your save is not corrupted anymore. Sometimes some damn little mod can suddenly start crashing your game. Also many unreconized mods in boss still need cleaning don't forget that eather. Good luck.

When I used the wrapper version of the ENB I would 100% CTD so I switched to injector. Injector without enbhost the vanilla save game loads perfectly. My problem is the enbhost. Even with all default settings for the ini CTD with ENBhost. VideoMemorySizeMB is not a problem here because AutodetectVideoMemorySize=true. This setting is only used if autodetection is off. Since you have 16gb ram, i suppose you're running on x64 windows? Yup x64.

Seems like that did the job, thanks, but now that I am in game I notice screen flickering... Should I follow the advice of the realvision authors? screen flickering from light to dark and fps drops to 0 increase VideoMemorySizeMb in steps of 1024, but maximum is VRAM+RAM-2048 or 10240 ! Edit: nevermind It is just on the load screen I'll run it a day tomorrow and see how it goes before marking this as answered. Thanks for the help! If you noticed any other problems in my posted logs please tell me, I am still having problems loading auto saves.
...0... Posted February 23, 2014 Posted February 23, 2014 Tyr save in single cells with no npc near plus autosave is not best to load your game i never use autosave ive disable it. Vsync refresh on or off if off can couse flickering.
