Where to start?

Hi im new to the site and Skyrim i was scrolling down the threads but there are so many mods here. like what mods are essential to get or a must have for this game.

After this then you have to ask yourself what you want in your game experience. Nobody can help there. Unless you speak up of course.

 

I'm assuming you want some adult mods, since this is THE site to get them. So go to the downloads section and get the SexLab Framework. It will list the necessary mods for it to run (such as SKSE and FNIS). Be sure to install the necessary files then add the SexLab Framework. Remember, the SL framework doesn't DO anything on it's own. It's merely a framework for other mods to work off from, so search the downloads here and find what kind of sexy mods you're into and add those after adding the framework.

 

You're going to want a better body replacer, right? Take your pick, there are dozens of them. For most animation mods you'll want a better skeleton and the XPMS is the best one to get.... http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/26800/?

 

If you're new to modding in general I would HIGHLY suggest taking the time to watch some informative videos on YouTube made by Gopher. They're easy to follow, very informative and will show you the basics of manual installations and using mod manager tools. He'll even get you started on some that you'll need for the vast majority of mods you'll want to use.

 

Start with this video and then watch the rest in the series. You really, really owe it to yourself to watch these. They'll help you a LOT if you're new at this.

ps: gvman is absolutely right. theres nothing better than first fixing the bugs that the game has already got without mods.

 

and AFTER THAT... you can try out mods and then fix their bugs

Thanks guys and i was looking for the adult mods to sexify the game up more. any help with that would be awesome. i do hear the schlongs of skyrim for females is pretty popular :-P

SoS is pretty much a must have for sex mods. The alternative is a male body mesh that ALWAYS walks around with a stiffy. Nothing more immersion breaking than looting a body to find it has WOOD! SoS at least makes a fairly realistic, functioning member that goes flaccid when not in use.

 

And it can be added to females if you're into that sort of thing. You can then make the girls go at it and they don't even need strap-ons!
