I am considering to install this mod. Have anyone tried this mod? What are your reactions, if any? Do you recommend it?

 

I am looking for Morroblivion Vvardenfell for Tamriel heightmaps because they linked a link on nexus that doesn't work anymore.

Does this mod (Morroblivion Vvardenfell for Tamriel heightmaps) really 'merges' Oblivion and Morrowind?

One thing to keep in mind is that while this mod adds the land mass - that is all it does. No cities, npc's, animals, quests - just land, grass, trees. It is a base plate for other mods that fill in the land. Last I checked none of these other mods are beyond beta state.

 

If I were you, I would install this separately and play around with it (and the mods that fill other provinces) rather than piling this on to your current load order.

 

Compatibility between the infill mods and your current mods might become an issue.

 

As to your last question - yes. Even though the land is pretty much a blank slate you can walk from the Imperial City to Morrowind. It is a fantastic idea but I don't think that it will progress to much further with Skyrim out. The reason I think that way is oblivion is an older engine and it makes more sense to use the Skyrim engine to make the world map. Just my two cents.
