Base UNP BBP

Now, I know there's one available in Nexus. But it has terrible seams at the neck and wrists, because its offset is wrong. I have no idea why no one else has wanted to give base UNP bouncing breasts or fix the already available one.

 

Today I took an old UNP BBP I had around, and used Outfit Studio to copy only the breast bones on the base version of UNP. It worked fine, better than I thought it would.

 

However, the weighting came out  a bit off-centered. It's not that noticeable, but since I'm not very good at weighting breasts, I think releasing it might mean someone else might want to fix it.

 

So here it is.

 

I also tested and it works with HDT. But that was expected.

Yeah, I am currently using a base UNP with TBBP and it can have a neck seam (gap) with some textures. I've messed around with a couple combos of texture layers and in ECE to get it where I can't see the darned gap anymore. It doesn't seem to work with HDT, though. The breasts collapse into the chest cavity when I run.

Well, didn't know UNP Bodyslide had base UNP with BBP. Gonna check it out, thanks. I also updated the link in the first post with a manually weighted body, since the one I uploaded yesterday was actually screwed, HDT caused the left breast to get crushed.

The UNP Bodyslide not only has UNP BBP, but also TBBP!

 

Regarding the seams, it's sometimes veeeery tricky. For instance, I'm using a custom-made body mod that has both TBBP and HDT, which were copied over from UNP. However, before copying weights I had to reposition base UNP breasts so that both models overlap. As a result, the breasts of my custom body don't shake entirely naturally. Also, I need to use weight 100%, because at lower weights I have a huge neck gap. Thankfully the wrists and ankles are fine!

 

When I tried copying breast weighting from CBBE (only the breasts!) onto my custom body, I suddenly got a bigger neck gap, but also wrist and ankle gaps. I didn't even touch the respective weights! 

 

Some of the problems can come from additional morphs that are employed by ECE to change sizes of body parts in-game. Nothing that can be fixed easily .

I know this. But that's for UNPB, I want the original UNP with BBP. UNP Bodyslide 2.0 made it possible, everything's working fine now. Regarding the seams, I don't mean texture seams. I mean actual mesh seams, caused by the BBP modification of the base UNP body available in Nexus. However, Bodyslide UNP generates a body with no mesh seams, so that's okay.

 

There's still one problem though. I can't use the generated body to weight BBP on base UNP outfits with Outfit Studio. After copying weights and exporting, it seems the weight data or the bone offsets get screwed, and the boobs come out flattened. I tested copying weights with Blender instead, and it came out perfect.

 

Can anyone reproduce this?

For those interested, MrTroubleMaker however has a proper UNP-BBP body "hidden" away on his UNPB mod page: TroubleMakers Clothing - UNPB UNP BBP BBPx TBBP MTM Female Body Replacer.

I don't think it's TBBP, but the two times I checked TBBP never showed that well on UNP anyway, imho.

 

I was gonna say that the BodySlide UNP-TBBP looks absolutely terrible, but I only checked with the old BodySlide 0.4 that was made for UNP from a re-purposed BodySlide 1. Haven't tried BodySlide 2 UNP, but if it's as awfully jiggly as the old BodySlide's you might wanna check out the link I posted.

Jeez finally I found something.

UNP has like 3 millions downloads on the nexus, It's totally absurd there's no (decent) BBP support (hence no HDT support, since if I'm not wrong the weighting is necessary for HDT)

 

Have you guys tested out the solutions you proposed in this thread? Which one do you suggest? If there's a definitive one, someone could do a mod for it (here and\or on the nexus).

I have used two other UNP BBP bodies and they both changed the breasts' shape and size a bit, too.

 

But on the bright side there is UNP Top Model with TBBP out there and it works great.

UNP top model also alters the original size. It makes 0% more little and 100% bigger, and I personally don't like it.

MrTroubleMaker also has a patch to support HDT (over his UNP bbp body) on his page. Will test the next days, we can also ask him the reason for the size difference.

Update: ok MrTroublemaker just explained to me the problem with the different size is caused by the skeleton (the xp32ms)..it distorts the body. He also showed one of the screens on his mod page, where you can see his skeleton doesn't have any distortion.

I asked him if by using his skeleton I'd lose compatibility\features over the xp32, I'll wait for his answer.

If you guys have any idea how to avoid the distortion or other suggestions..

Ok, this is my conclusion: if you're using UNP, avoid the xp32 skeleton as it modifies the shape of your body mesh in a bad way (UNP is based on the original skeleton)

Besides, for what I know xp32 isn't needed at all. Yes it is linked as a general suggestion on the sl framework download page BUT it isn't a requirement. Nor it is a requirement for like 99% of the animations out there I think.

 

So my suggestion is to use a skeleton that doesn't have those problems. The skeleton of Mrtroublemaker page respect the UNP proportions, already has the arm fix applied, and comes with an installer for the UNP BBP body (plus optional HDT breasts\hands collision)..of course it's also compatible with HDT physics.

 

Let me know what you think, I'll use it in the next days.

I've spent an hour messing around trying to get bbp to work with unp on my new build. Before I was using unpb but found some sizes a bit unrealistic

I just used the femalebody_0 and _1.nifs from troublemakers with the standard unp body. All the others had hand or breast issues. Using xp32 skeleton without the breast problems as described above.

 

Excuse the default nord preset and the seams, I've not done any blending and I'm still testing mods atm

I am quite pleased with it. Now this and the Venus body have become my two faves, although I also really like Top Model for thinner characters (and that has no butt jiggle).

I'm not mixing any files. All the textures are from one packaged mod so there are no seams. I'm also using Fem Feet Redesigned and Improved Hand Mesh. I use Mod Organizer so I just place the body, then the meshes, then the textures, then ECE (in that order in the left pane (of course)) to get no seams or gaps. I also have to make sure I don't let Zaz Animation Pack overwrite ECE or a neck gap may show up.

I personally use wyre. I was mixing realistic girl with unp, better hand mesh and will probably pick different face textures in the long run. I'm going to end up taking the textures out and change them by hand to use with unique character so mod organizer is a no no as I need all the files in the same place.

 

I wasn't dismissing your suggestion btw I was just saying that I had xp32 working fine with bbp just by using those two files in case anyone else wanted to go the same route as me

You can just unzip a few different textures, move the layers you want into a new folder, then zip it and install it with MO. I've done that a few times.

 

Another option is to go into your Mod Organizer/mods folder and change layers right there. If you don't like it just reinstall the texture and try another combo.

I might give that one a try, since I have yet to find a phsyics body I liked so far.

You should really upload this everywhere possible. If we can get some more direct support for this body type, It would be amazing. I can get nipple piercings, on every body type with HDT no problem...except this one... and IMO this is clearly the best body type. Bottom line, it just needs more direct support. It's amazing. i refuse to switch body types.

 

Also, if anyone has any info on why i am getting nipple rings to the side of the nipple, even when I edit the outfit properly in outfit studio, I would greatly appreciate it. Using UNP BBP body and HDT piercings.
