Yet another mod list help topic

[BAB PEEG]

Ok so I followed this guide http://www.loverslab.com/topic/8893-installation-guide-with-lovers-mbp-and-wyre-with-bashed-patch/

Then I checked all my mod orders (I think they should be all correct)

Checked BOSS and there were no warnings or anything.

Then I ran TES4Edit and again no warnings.

 

My problem is when the game loads it runs for a few seconds then crashes, every time so I messed something up somewhere.

Is the game itself starting up or is the OBSE command screen just flashing and then disappearing?

 

A thought on the load order althought I'm not such a LO expert, especially not with Lovers mods: According to Greg's sample load order from here 'LoversMB2.esp' must be below the Bashed Patch. Same goes for the two plugins 'LoversIdleAnimsPriority.esp' and 'LoversAnimObjectsPriority.esp' which must traditionally be at the very bottom.

are you running a saved game   -   sometimes  (often)  the game crashes as it needs to meet a load order that have being changed 

    therefor a 'clean save' is needed ?

 

if it crashing at start up (new game)    -  do you have all obse plugin  like menuque, elys plugy-hud installed or uptodate ?

Ok I fixed the load order on both and it still crashes.

I can start the game and make a new character just fine, but when it's done with character creation it looks like it'll work for a few seconds then crash.

On a wild hare I reinstalled obse and changed it to the steam version and now it works. I hope to god it continues working!

Good to hear the game is running now.

Who would have thought the solution is something that simple? I for sure wouldn't have guessed as I still am using the disc version only, I have next to no experience with Steam at all. Haven't accessed my Skyrim Steam profile in quite some time.

 

In any case those changes to your load order you did will prove beneficial to the functionality of Lovers mods. A positive side effect of this ordeal.
