Guest endgameaddiction Posted September 1, 2014 Posted September 1, 2014 Are you getting that without ENB? Like if you toggle the effect off with shift + F12 does it give that same problem? If you can post some screens it could help. Xil has made an ENB and might know your problem if it's related to ENB. I have never had that problem happen to me. The only problem I had happen to me once was my sky in the wasteland went all pure black and it was actually kinda cool because it gave off a dark offset to the world, but it was a for sure bug. I wish I still had those screenshots. I know the game engine for Fallout 3 is so bad that lighting in the game world is just horrible. You can have your camera turned one way and that object is getting lighting and if you turn it the light disappears.
icladel Posted September 2, 2014 Posted September 2, 2014 Hey, Yea it only happens with ENB. Without it, lighting is fine. It is exactly as you described it, camera is fine one way but very dark in the other. Its playable, just very hard to see.
Guest endgameaddiction Posted September 2, 2014 Posted September 2, 2014 Have you tried a different ENB and see if the same problem persists? If it does, it could be that you do not have your settings set up correctly. Apart from having Antialiasing and Anisotropic Filtering both off, do you have them ticked off in your GPU control panel under global settings?
jonas_opines Posted September 21, 2014 Posted September 21, 2014 Bridge Over the Potomac, using Midhrastic. Was on the Water Carrier protection quest in Broken Steel, spent so long admiring the view that they were all dead by the time I got there and I had to reload, haha.
Guest tomm434 Posted September 24, 2014 Posted September 24, 2014 This... is..... beautiful.............
randompeep Posted October 1, 2014 Posted October 1, 2014 Indeed, I would appreciate it very much if you could upload your configurations onto the interwebs.
ao2thend Posted March 29, 2015 Posted March 29, 2015 Its been a long while since anyone's posted in this thread, but since I started playing FNV recently I've found myself taking more and more screenshots. So bring on the pictures.
Guest endgameaddiction Posted December 31, 2015 Posted December 31, 2015 This is a really old screenshot of megaton I took doing some tinkering around with a few mods to get this sepia tone and an ENB effect. This set up was rather peculiar because the d3d9.dll is a very very early version where overlays from mods like imaginator would work with this. The only downfall was not having detail shadows and ambient occlusion like you get in the later d3d9.dll. This also doesn't give off any bloom effect either. At least I don't recall it ever having bloom. I can see here it doesn't look like it at all. This is a very nice setup for those who have a low to mid end computer that can't use (or those who just can't stand) later ENBs that reduces your frames from stuff like DOF, Bloom, Ambient Occlusion, Detailed shadows etc.... Juicy SweetFX (Everything except d3d9.dll)F3 Enhanced Shaders NO DDOF - Lite Version (d3d9.dll, effect, and enbseries only)DC Moods (Main + DLCs)ENB of The Apocalypse or Somber Vintage (pallette only)The Groovatron (desaturation)Somber Vintage ENB (Sky Stars + Sunglare only)
