Game constantly CTD

[LeonKyros]

If anyone can help me figure this out I would greatly appreciate it. Before it wasn't so bad crashing every now and then so I saved almost every minute (normal save never quicksaves) however now it's crashing every chance it gets, from within conversations to just walking around. Attached is the full load order from LOOT of what I have. I am not sure if I have incompatible mods or what. 

I have tried to disable some at a time to try to narrow it down but that has proven to be well less fruitful.

I'm too exhausted right now to go through this list with a fine tooth comb; but I'm pretty sure either Brothels or Shenanigans is well known for completely borking your save over an extended period of time. Also, you load order is pretty...chaotic; I'd be surprised if most of it even ran alright from the start.

Without a crash log hard to help, but a few comments:

 

• All of the RSE mods, with the possible excetion of parts of RSE_II_CSA (and only parts) are completely borked and will kill you save. Flashy (the author) has said do not use them.
• Also, AWKCR - armorsmith extended, is not so good and better mods exist now (ECO crafting, eg).
• Scrap Everything - Ultimate Edition.esp - this crashes in the mechanist area without a patch, also, will wreck your precombines and lead to save instability later game.
• SS2.esm - this is a very demanding mod and is better played as a standalone on a light mod order.

if you game starts ok-ish (that is a bad sign - crashing ever now and then is a sign of conflicts or script problems), and then gets worse, your mod list is in conflict and they are slowly murdering your save the longer you play. I would suggest using wabbajack, install a light mod order for Fallout 4 and then add in the AAF mods as per the "fucking manual" here.

The only unfortunate things is that a few mods require the AWKCR armorkeywords.esm

Quite a few mods, have patches to remove awkcr requirements, check on nexus to see if the mod you are using has them, sometimes they are in the requirements tab, under the files requiring this mod part.

Well one or two have that though for me to get rid of it I will have to remove a couple mods. which will be fine over all.

It might also be worth while doing a google search for non awkcr patches for the mods, there are some patch collections that are not on nexus, from what I remember not many but there used to be a few, it mostly depend on which mods they are if they are pretty common or popular mods there is more chance of finding a removal mod.

 

Must admit though I gave up on awkcr and armorsmith extended ages ago, getting the to work properly was a pain, and I have had sim settlements 2, kill my save games before today, where no matter how I approached a settlement, fast travel or walking towards it, the game would instantly ctd as soon as I got within a certain distance of it.

 

Also make sure that AAF is properly installed, using the guide pinned in the AAF section of this site, because your load order for those files looks off as well.

 

Also is this a load order you have built yourself or is it from somebody else's guide? If it is from a guide, what do they say about load order and such?

Functional Displays is known to cause frequent crashes. People claim that can be fixed by deleting the meshes that are just edits to Bethesda nif files.
