Weird Black texture shading issue with Custom Race Model

I'm having a bit of trouble on my end with a custom race model for a mod I made. I'm having issues with strange black shading appearing on the model in dimly lit areas. On top of that there's some strange black textures appearing on the hands that shouldn't be there. I'm not even sure as to what to do or even how to go about fixing it.

Asides from the texture paths the right shader flags should be corrected in nifskope (skinned, remappable_textures, Zbuffer_test)

the screenshot is a little too small but it looks like it could be related to the mesh tangent space. Right clicking the mesh in nifskope and clicking mesh > update tangent space should solve it if the issue it's really that

I can say this much though. The flags you mentioned are the ones used. The flags on all the meshes are Skinned, remappable textures, Zbuffer_Test and the last one is ZBuffer_Write
