This is a nudity mod for Rayman Origins bringing bare breasted nymphs to your screen. Betilla, Holly Luya, Annetta Fish, Helena Handbasket, Edith Up and Voodoo Mamma are all topless, nude and even have variants with piercings or with bush! There's even skimpy wear now too! I’ve tried to make the instructions as clear as possible, so I hope you can all enjoy this mod! Please follow either the guide below or read the 'Read Me' in the .zip file to install it. -------------------------------------- 🚨 IMPORTANT INFORMATION TO READ BEFORE CONTINUING! 🚨 1. Earlier versions of this mod: If you have installed version 1.0.1 or earlier of this mod in RCP 14, please deactivate, uninstall and delete the .gp files via the RCP Mod Loader. If you used the ‘Overwrite Method’ of installation, either reinstall/repair your game via Ubisoft Connect/Uplay, Steam, GOG or through the DVD Installer, or repeat the ‘3c Overwrite Method’ in the instructions below. If you have installed version 1.2 or 1.3 through means of a patch, you should not need to uninstall the previous version as RCP should detect that it’s an upgrade and take care of the process automatically. However, you can always uninstall the old versions if you wish by clicking on the little red bin icon over an already installed mod when you’re browsing through the currently installed mods window. ‘Overwrite methods’ must always be overwritten again or repaired when installing a new version of the mod. 2. Special note for users installing Helena’s Nude or Skimpy patch: Due to the way the game works, it is not possible to have any of Helena’s nude or skimpy patches look correct for both ‘Moseying the Mountain’ and ‘Riding the Storm’ at the same time. (Or, at least not one I could find after trying everything I could think of.) Instead, there are a few choices: Option 1: Have both patches installed and simply toggle which one is active in the RCP mod loader. You do this by the following: Install your preferred patch with Helena as well as the equivalent ‘Gathering’ version. Have only the standard one active. When you get to ‘Riding the Storm’, quit the game, open RCP, toggle the currently ‘On’ patch with Helena to ‘Off’ and toggle her ‘Gathering’ version to ‘On'. You’ll have to swap it back when you wish to play ‘Moseying the Mountain’. Option 2: Install the standard nude patch and do nothing. It’ll look odd for the one instance you see it but doesn’t break the game or stop you from playing. Option 3: Install Helena’s Topless version instead. She won’t be completely naked, but she’ll look fine for both levels. -------------------------------------- This mod requires a few minutes of work on your part to make it function, but just follow the guide below and you’ll be up to your eyeballs in nymph boobs before you know it! A. Installation 1. Install Rayman Origins (Either through Ubisoft Connect/Uplay, Steam, GOG or through the DVD installer if you have the disc version. If you have the disc version, please ensure it’s up to date. -Link to Update-) 2. Download and install the Rayman Control Panel Go to https://raym.app/rcp/ and click on “Download latest version” OR go directly to the github project page: https://github.com/RayCarrot/RayCarrot.RCP.Metro/releases/latest Scroll to the bottom and download “Rayman.Control.Panel.exe” Run the installer and set the path for Rayman Origins to where you’ve installed it. Before continuing, consider backing up your save games. You can use the RCP for that if you want. Progression —> Rayman Origins —> Backup. You may need to run as administrator. Now choose one of the following methods to install the mod: 3a. All-in-1 Patch (The extra easy method which installs my favourite choices.) Open Rayman Control Panel and click on ‘Manage Mods’ under the Mod Loader for Rayman Origins. The Mod Loader will open. Click on ‘Install from file’. An Explorer window will open. Navigate to the ‘3a All-in-1Patches’ folder. Choose either Topless or Nude. (Pick only ONE (1)!) Select and activate the patch in the ‘Installed mods’ list for Rayman Origins. The load order doesn’t matter for this kind of patch. Click apply. (This may take a minute or two as the RCP is recompiling the archive for the game.) Done! Run the game like normal! Topless contains the following choices: Betilla topless, Holly topless + piercings, Edith topless, Annetta topless + piercings, Helena topless, Voodoo Mamma topless + piercings. Nude contains the following choices: Betilla nude + bush, Holly nude + piercings + bush, Edith nude, Annetta nude + piercings, Helena nude + bush, Voodoo Mamma nude + piercings + bush. Skimpy contains the following choices: Betilla skimpy + bush, Holly skimpy + bush, Edith skimpy, Annetta skimpy, Helena skimpy + bush, Voodoo Mamma skimpy + piercings + bush. 3b. Individual Patching (The easy method.) Open Rayman Control Panel and click on ‘Manage Mods’ under the Mod Loader for Rayman Origins. The Mod Loader will open. Click on ‘Install from file’. An Explorer window will open. Navigate to the ‘3b Nymph Patches’ folder and open each compressed folder that you want to install for each Nymph. Every Nymph has several patch variants to choose from. Helena patch users, please check page 1 for more info! You can install multiple variants if you want to, but make sure that there’s only ONE (1) for each Nymph active at any one time! (RCP should warn you if this is the case.) Select and activate the patches in the ‘Installed mods’ list for Rayman Origins. The load order doesn’t matter for this kind of patch. Click apply. (This may take a minute or two as the RCP is recompiling the archive for the game.) Done! Run the game like normal! 3c. Overwrite Method (Manual, always on method. The choice you should pick if something in the 3a/3b method doesn’t work. This always works if applied correctly. ) Unzip the compressed ‘3c Overwrite Method’ folder in the mod pack you’ve downloaded. I’d highly recommend using 7-Zip to unpack it because of Windows compatibility issues with long file names. The resulting folder is approximately 1.3GB in size, so make sure you’ve got space! Open the Rayman Control Panel and click on Rayman Origins from the left side of the window. Under ‘Archive Explorer’ click ‘Open’. Navigate to the appropriate destination according to the information and table below in section 4. Right-click each sprite sheet file (.tga.ckd files) that you wish to modify in the explorer window and click ‘Import’. Replace the normal nymph sprite sheets with the ones that you want from the ‘3c Overwrite Method’ folder. Once you’re done, click ‘Save Archive’ in the lower right of the window. It’ll compile the .ipk back together for you. Done! Run the game like normal! # Please note, this method can be difficult to undo, so backing up the original .tga.ckd files is recommended if you ever wish to give the nymphs their clothes back. If you haven’t copied the original sprite sheets to return, uninstall/disable all mods and try reinstalling/repairing Rayman Origins via Ubisoft Connect/Uplay, Steam, GOG or through the DVD Installer. This should get the game files back to normal. (Don’t forget to backup your saves!) 4. Locations and naming tables. Main Nymph Sprite Sheets: bundle_PC.ipk:/itf_cooked/pc/cinematic/faery/animation Voodoo Mamma: bundle_PC.ipk:/itf_cooked/pc/cinematic/faery/deathworld/faery_death/animation Darktoon Sprite Sheets: bundle_PC.ipk:/itf_cooked/pc/world/common/enemy/darktoon_cage/animation World Map Sprite Sheets: bundle_PC.ipk:/itf_cooked/pc/world/worldmap/actors/friendly/faery/animation Text Sign: bundle_PC.ipk:/itf_cooked/pc/world/common/ui/info_cartouche/animation Feather Plume: bundle_PC.ipk:/itf_cooked/pc/world/2_musicworld/background/texture -------------------------------------- B. Checklist Have you installed all the patches for each Nymph? Remember, you can install multiple variants if you really want to, but make sure that there’s only ONE (1) for each Nymph active at any one time! Checklist: -------------------------------------- C. Optional Patches In addition to the topless and nude patches, there are optional patches which change a few things in Rayman Origins. They’re not included with the other patches in order to keep the main patches easy to update. While they’re not necessary to use, they help and complement the main patches. Darktoon Cage - Dentist Visit A simple mod that modifies the teeth of the Darktoon Cage enemies that carry the Nymphs. Pros: You get a much better view of the Nymphs! Cons: The dental plans cost ALOT. (This is a joke, there are no real cons.) Plume Trim A mod that cuts back one of the feathers in the all of the levels of world 2. The reason for this mod is that a particular feather blocks the view of Holly in the Darktoon Cage. Pros: You can get a good eyeful of Holly! Cons: This edit affects every other similar feather in the game. It’s pretty unnoticeable though, so I wouldn’t be too concerned about it. Invisible Text Sign A simple mod to remove the text signs that appear on the bottom of the screen during gameplay. Pros: Makes it much easier to see the Nymphs during their cutscenes. Cons: This edit affects every instance of the bottom text sign which can make it hard to read the text, but I’d argue it’s still easy enough to see. -------------------------------------- D. Troubleshooting A brief note on crashes with regard to these mods. Crashes occur because the game is trying to load a graphic that, for one reason or another, won’t load correctly when the game ‘calls’ for the graphic to be displayed. This is why a level may load without issue at the start, but the game then crashes as you progress. These kinds of crashes could only affect your save games if the crash occurs during an autosave, such as finishing or loading a level. Crashes during a level will not. # The game crashes at the start of level. Then there’s a problem with one of the patches for the Nymphs. The level that the crash occurs in, corresponds directly with the patch that is the cause of the problem. Please mention which level you were in when it happened or which Nymph you were trying to view. # The game crashes at the world map. Then there’s a problem with one of the patches for the Map Sprites. Please mention which area you were in when it happened or which Nymph you were trying to view. # No matter what I do I can’t get the game to run anymore. I think that the patches have crapped it over. Uninstall/disable all mods and try reinstalling/repairing Rayman Origins via Ubisoft Connect/Uplay, Steam, GOG or through the DVD Installer. (Remember to backup your saves just in case!) # I can’t get a particular patch to work and I really want to see those Nymph tits right now! The 3c installation method has always worked with every edit I’ve made, without fail. Please try that method. # I can’t seem to unzip certain folders correctly OR RCP keeps giving me errors on attempting to import the mod. Due to the way the patch files are made, their directory paths are extremely long. Windows is only able to read a file path that is a maximum of 260 characters, which also has an effect on RCP too. Try unpacking the zips in a higher level folder, or on your desktop. # I’m getting a metadata error and can’t access the mod list for Rayman Origins anymore! In Windows, navigate to the install location for Rayman Origins and open its folder. Turn on ‘Hidden items’ in Window options. Open the ‘.rcp_mods’ folder. Open the ‘mods’ folder and take note of which mod or mods are NOT installed. This is most likely the one that is causing you problems. Open the ‘mods.json’ file with a code editor program (such as VS Code or Notepad++. No, the regular Notepad program won’t work here.) You now need to find the section of code that corresponds to the mod that failed to install. If you installed a batch of mods, you’ll need to figure out which one is missing from the list. If you feel the above solution is too complicated for you OR you can’t find which file it was you can instead delete the ‘.rcp_mods’ folder completely, but you’ll need to re-install and re-enable all the mods you’ve previously had. This error can happen either due to a problem in the metadata file for a particular mod, an overly long file name in the metadata, an overly long path name (especially if you’ve got a long Username or Drive name), OR sometimes just occurs because it feels like it. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ # I like cleavage! This isn’t a problem and I’m happy for you. -------------------------------------- E. Q&A Q1: I noticed I could select a different UbiArt Archive for Rayman Origins on other platforms. Will your edit work on something like the Wii U version? A1: If you somehow get a Wii U version on PC so that the RCP can modify it, it should work if you use method 3b but you’d have to try it and see! Good luck to you! Q2: Who’s your favourite Nymph? A2: Etilla-bay! Q3: Why’d you change the name of the mod? Again??? A3: When I first made the topless mod, I didn’t think that I’d ever get around to doing a nude mod as well. So when I finished the nude mod, I just tacked it into the mod name. Now, having also done a skimpy mod and the gloveless and bootless variants, I realised that having ‘Topless, Nude, Skimpy (and gloveless and bootless) Nymphs’ was both getting a bit long and didn’t really run off the tongue. Instead, I thought: ‘What about a word for each type of main edit?’ Topless = Totally, Skimpy = Sexy, Nude = Nymphs. ‘Totally Sexy Nymphs’! I (hopefully) won’t be changing it again! Q4: Hey, where are the Nymph micro-patches from version 1.2? A4: I’ve removed them as I don’t think anyone was even using them. I mean, do you really want to have Betilla nude with bush in the darktoon cage but when you bust her out she’s suddenly got piercings but her bush is gone while having her map sprite be topless??? If for some crazy reason you do, you can use method 3c to make the Nymphs look exactly how you’d like them to. Q5: Those boobs are tiny! I want to do my own edit and give Edith some tits that are the size of the sun! A5: From what I’ve seen so far it looks like you might be able to increase the boob size to a maximum of about 2-4 times greater than what it is now, at least in Edith’s case. In the case of edits for Rayman Legends, the workable area is MUCH more restrictive (Though it may be possible to alter the area somehow!) Q6: What are you using to make these edits? A6: Krita and a Huion 13 tablet. Q7: Can I run this mod on Steam Deck/Linux? A7: Probably! I’ve been testing out Nobara as my Windows 11 alternative and it’s almost flawless. Rayman Origins itself works perfectly when installed through the GOG Minigalaxy program. If you’re using Steam, make sure you pick the Proton Experimental version and it should work fine. I managed to install RCP in Wine and despite a few text glitches it at least seemed to run, but I haven’t tried anything further. If you can’t get RCP to install mods correctly, the best alternative solution is to do it on Windows, use install method 3c, copy the ‘bundle_PC.ipk’ file, transfer it to your Linux system and overwrite the .ipk with your modified one. Q8: Why are you calling the folder that your mod comes in a ‘Showbag? What the hell is a ‘Showbag’ anyway? A8: In Australia, a showbag is a bag of goodies, sweet treats or fun stuff, often themed around something like a popular video game, cartoon series, TV show, movie, etc, which you can buy at a show or showground. (Brits or Americans would know these as carnivals or fairs.) I thought it seemed fitting since you’re getting a bag (a folder) of cool, assorted mods to pick and choose from. You can read more about the concept here, Sheepdip: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Showbag Q9: What happened to version 1.1? EdgarShrodinger Posted April 1, 2023 Author Posted April 1, 2023 (edited) I thought it might be fun/handy for others so here's: -How to make your own patch in Rayman Control Panel 14- (This works for both Origins and Legends!) Let’s do an example, step by step! Our overall goal: We want to make an edit of the sprite sheet for Betilla when you free her from the Darktoon Cage in a PC version of Rayman Origins. —————————————————————— I. Extract and Edit A Having already installed, set-up and opened Rayman Control Panel, on the main game selection screen, have Rayman Origins selected as your game and click ‘Open’ in the ‘Archive Explorer’ section. B The Archive Explorer window will open. Navigate to the location of your sprite. In this example, we’re working on Betilla’s sprite sheet, so the path is the following: ‘bundle_PC.ipk:/itf_cooked/pc/cinematic/faery/animation’. Click on each folder on the left side of the window till you’re at your destination. Once you’ve found the sprite sheet you want, right-click on it and then: For Exporting: 3. Select Export. 4. Click on .PNG or .TGA. (or whichever file type suits your needs best, though it should be something with transparency so don't choose a .JPG or .JPEG) A window will open for you to choose where to save it. Now, go make an edit! # Several VERY Important Tips for Editing # Retain image transparency (ie. keep it as a .png with transparency when exporting.) Do not resize the image. A larger or smaller than expected image resolution can cause silent errors when reimporting. You can erase areas of the sprite sheet but in general cannot add to/expand areas. At present, there is no current way to visualise the 'workable' area of Origins and Legends sprite sheet except through trial and error. It appears that it's a lot more restrictive on the Legends sprite sheets than in Origins. Painting a 'colour heat map' which you export into the game, take footage of and then work back from, can be helpful in determining the area you can paint. Image artefacts are an unfortunate but standard problem that occurs during export to any format via RCP. It's most notable around clashing colours such as dark verses light colours or complementary colours. All you can do is try to tidy it up or ignore the less severe areas. Two sprite parts of the same or similar colour that pass over each other (such as arms or legs connecting to a body like in the mods I've made) have the annoying habit of creating a noticable 'line' at the point where the two parts meet. Krita's 'Smear' tool has been my solution in getting this work well. If you're working on editing a character, try to think of each body part on the sprite sheet as if you have cut them out and placed them on top of each other, like a paper doll or characters from South Park. The game always has a priority that is followed regarding which part is on top of the other which varies from character to character. The Nymphs for example all have one leg that is in front and one leg that is behind their torsos/bodies for their 'freedom' scenes. Helena is the only exception with her dress/body always on top of her arms and legs, except for when they exceed the maximum painted area in a particular direction and clash directly through her body. When your edit is complete, you’ll need to come back and import it back over the original as you’ll see below. For Importing: 3. Click Import. A window will open for you to choose which file to import. As long as the file type (.dds, .png, .tga, etc…) matches one of the export file types, the RCP will create a new .tga.ckd to overwrite the original. 4. Click export and select ‘Original (.TGA.CKD)’ and you’ll receive a .tga.ckd file with your edit you just made. Save this to a place that you can access and move the file around easily, such as the desktop or a folder to work from. Now, let’s make a patch! Optional: Either click ‘Cancel’ to undo all the changes you’ve made to the chosen game since you’ve opened the Archive Explorer (good for when you just want to make a quick .tga.ckd), or click ‘Apply’ to apply your changes to the game. Though, if you’re trying to make a patch you should click cancel so you can test your patches in its final stages. II. Generating the basic mod files On the main game page of the Rayman Control Panel, click on ‘Create Mod’. The mod creation window will pop up. Since we’re doing a sprite replacement or edit, such as any of the Nymph mods I’ve made, you’ll need to click on the ‘Files’ checkbox to get it to generate the necessary files and folders. Click ‘Create Mod’. An explorer window will open and you can choose where to output the mod files. Make a new folder with the name of your mod and click ‘Save’ on the explorer window. Please note the red underlined sections in part 3 of the image below for V. Zipping. —————————————————————— III. Placing your edits Now, let’s put your sprite sheets in the appropriate places! Open the newly made mod folder and head to ‘files’. You can delete the ‘Removed_files.txt’ since we’re not removing anything, just overwriting it. Open the ‘added_files’ folder. It should be empty inside. You’ll now need to make a bunch of folders in folders that lead to the destination of where you took the original sprite sheet. In our example, to add Betilla’s sprite sheet to its end location, you’d need to make the following set of folders: GameData —> bundle_PC.ipk —> itf_cooked —> pc —> cinematic —> faery —> animation Place your edited .tga.ckd file in the deepest/last folder. In this example, it’s the animation folder. You can add multiple edits that go to different folders. Just make sure that the destinations of your edits are correct! Please also make sure that the file type is a .tga.ckd file. Here are the path directories for the Nymph’s sprites. Main Nymph Sprite Sheets: GameData\bundle_PC.ipk\itf_cooked\pc\cinematic\faery\animation\ Voodoo Mamma: GameData\bundle_PC.ipk\itf_cooked\pc\cinematic\faery\deathworld\faery_death\animation\ Darktoon Sprite Sheets: GameData\bundle_PC.ipk\itf_cooked\pc\world\common\enemy\darktoon_cage\animation\ Map Sprites: GameData\bundle_PC.ipk\itf_cooked\pc\world\worldmap\actors\friendly\faery\animation —————————————————————— IV. Editing the .jsonc Once all of your edits are in the correct places it’s time to edit the .jsonc! As mentioned in step 3 of the RCP modding window, you’ll now need to download and install a text editor with .json support. I would recommend Notepad++ but you could also use Visual Studio Code. (No, the preinstalled Microsoft Notepad will not work here. Please don’t use Notepad for this.) If you know how to code you’ll probably fill out the .jsonc without issue. If you’re completely new to coding or a novice, the RCP already generates some helpful tips that are easy to follow. Just read and fill out the information to complete the .jsonc. Leave ‘games’, ‘format’ and ‘archives’ alone. You can mostly do what you want in the other sections. If you’re adding another lot of version info to your ‘changelog’, use the brackets as circled in my example to separate the two versions. Once you’re done, you can either leave or delete the green text separated by the \\ to clean up the .jsonc. Your end result should look similar to the example. (Minus all the annotations and helpful lum.) —————————————————————— V. Zipping When your edits are in place and you’re happy with the .jsonc, it’s time to pack them into a compressed file. You have three choices: .zip, .7z or .rar. Let’s cover the first two. For a .zip Select both the ‘files’ folder and the ‘metadata.jsonc’. Right-click and select ‘Send to’ and then ‘Compressed (zipped) folder’ A zipped folder will be generated in the same folder you’re currently working on. Rename it to your chosen mod name if you wish. For a .7z You’ll need to install 7zip first which you can find here: https://www.7-zip.org Please check your system information for which version you need, but it’s highly likely that you’ll want the ’64-bit x64’ version if you’re using a more recently manufactured computer. Select both the ‘files’ folder and the ‘metadata.jsonc’. Right-click and select ‘7-zip’ and then ‘Add to “YOUR FOLDER NAME HERE.7z”’ A .7z folder will be generated in the same folder you’re currently working on. Rename it to your chosen mod name if you wish. Please note that when you are compressing your files, you should NOT be compressing the folder that contains the mod files, but rather the “files” folder and the .jsonc file contained within your work folder. If you’d like to add a ‘thumbnail’ to your mod when you view it in the Mod Loader, you can simply add a .png file with the name ‘thumbnail.png’ when you’re making your compressed file. (ie, you’re zipping 3 items instead of 2.) The .png should have a dimension of 128x128 pixels. —————————————————————— VI. Testing At this point you’re basically done! Return to the RCP and click ‘Manage Mods’. Click ‘Install from file’ and choose your zipped patch. Click the box to the left of your mod to get the RCP to load it into Origins Click ‘Apply’, This may take a minute or two as the RCP is recompiling the archive for the game. Test your patch! —————————————————————— Tutorial Complete! You receive: 300 lums 17 French Citizenship Points 1 Nod of Approval —————————————————————— # Simplification: If you’re a little confused about what to do, here are the steps broken down into their simplest parts! Extract Sprites Edit Sprites Generate .tga.ckd’s Generate mod files Place edits Modify .jsonc Zip the files Test the patch Publish / Enjoy —————————————————————— # Troubleshooting: Offical RCP Modding Documentation: http://github.com/RayCarrot/RayCarrot.RCP.Metro/wiki/Mod-Loader # Where’s the ‘Archive Explorer’ area in Step I? I don’t see it! If the Archive Explorer section is not visible, you can find it under Utilities at the top of the screen. Select ‘UbiArt Archives (.ipk)’ from the left drop down menu and ‘Rayman Origins (PC)’ from the right. (Assuming this is the game you wish to import/export your sprite sheet into.) Click open and select Bundle_PC.ipk from the explorer window that pops up. Click open again. Continue from Step I B1 # The game keeps crashing when I try to see my patch in-game! What gives? It’s possible that while either exporting or importing your sprite sheet, there’s been an error on the dimensions of the file. Try re-exporting the sprite sheet you want, open the export in your drawing program and drag your edits over to the newly exported sprite sheet. Save the file and try importing it again into the Archive Explorer. As a tip, a successful import will generate a visible thumbnail in the Archive Explorer. A failure will not and will often have a drastically different file size than the original, usually just a few kilobytes. # I’m having trouble make a zip! Windows says the file or path name is too long OR it’s just not compressing into a .zip file! Try using 7-Zip to make your .zip file. Having already installed 7-Zip, right-click your files and go to ‘7-Zip’ then select ‘Add to “YOUR FOLDER NAME HERE.zip”’. Personally, I find that 7-Zip is a much better program for anything to do with compressing files, so I’d suggest you use it as the default choice when you make a .zip. Alternatively, reduce the length of your folder names. Keep in mind though that you must NOT change the names of anything within the 'files' folder. #ARRRRGGGHHH! I made a mistake in the .json and now I can't install/uninstall/access the mods window in RCP! Send HELP! In RCP, select the game you're having trouble with and click on the little down pointing white arrow next to the green 'Play' button and select 'Open location'. An explorer window will open with your selected game. Open the folder titled '.rcp_mods' (This is a hidden folder that you cannot normally see. In Windows 10, click 'View' and click the 'Options' window icon. The 'Folder Options' window will open. Click 'View' and click on 'Show hidden files, folders and drives.' and click 'Ok'. You can toggle it off again when you're finished.) Open the 'mods.json' in your coding editor that you used earlier. Now delete the troublesome mod from the script and save your file. Close RCP and try opening the mod window again. This error can happen either due to a problem in the metadata file for a particular mod, an overly long id name in the metadata, an overly long path name (especially if you’ve got a long Username or Drive name), OR sometimes just occurs because it feels like it. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ I've had it most often when installing more than 1 mod at a time for testing. —————————————————————— # Q&A: # Can I test my edit without having to make a patch? You sure can! Open archive explorer and navigate to where your edit is supposed to be. Right-click on the file, select ‘Import’ and make your file overwrite the original. Click ‘Save Archive’. I would however make sure that you export a copy of the original to add back later so that you can test that your patch works as intended without having to completely re-install the game to test it out. —————————————————————— —————————————————————— And just in case, here's the old RCP 13 Legacy version: Spoiler - How to make your own sprite edit patch for RCP 13 and earlier - First off, extract a workable image file from the sprite sheet you want to edit by using the Archive explorer. Navigate to the file you want, right-click on it and select ‘Export’ followed by the file type you want (mostly likely a .png) and save it. Once you make your edit, import the image file back on top of the original and then export it again as a .tga.ckd file (I'm not 100% convinced but I believe that the file you wish to replace needs to be the same file type, hence this tedious process). This is the file you’ll be using in the patch. Now follow the guide below. Click on ‘Utilities’, then in the ‘Patch Creator’ drop down menu, select ‘Rayman Origins’ and then click ‘Create new patch’. A window will pop up. Let’s go through the process step by step with a visual guide! Click the drop down at the bottom and pick ‘GameData\bundle_PC.ipk’ (I can’t stress this enough that you make sure this is correct with each new patch you make.) Click the ‘Add from files' button and navigate to the edit you’ve made. Your source is displayed here make sure it’s right! This is where you need to add the path for the patcher to place your replacement file. The name of the file that you added will already be here! You must add the full destination path name of the original file AND the original file’s name for the patch to work. Please note you must use backslashes ( \ ) instead of forwardslashes ( / )! Fill out the patch info as you’d like! You can add an icon to your patch if you want by clicking this button! Click create and the patch creator will make a .gp file which the Rayman Control Panel can make use of! All done! This same process can also be used to make a mod patch for Rayman Legends if you want! ------- Here are the paths which you can just copy and paste into part 4 if you’re working on the nymphs: Main Nymph Sprite Sheets: itf_cooked\pc\cinematic\faery\animation\ Darktoon Sprite Sheets: itf_cooked\pc\world\common\enemy\darktoon_cage\animation\ Voodoo Mamma: itf_cooked\pc\cinematic\faery\deathworld\faery_death\animation\ ------- Troubleshooting: # RCP complains that some files couldn’t be replaced. Most likely you’ve typed the destination path incorrectly. A patch putting a replacement file in the wrong destination will still say it was successful, whereas a wrong path will not. # The patch I made won’t appear/install into the patch window for the game. Please ensure that you used backslashes for the destination name. \\\\\\\\\\\\\ # The game crashes when I get close to a character or object I've edited in game with the patcher or archive explorer. This is most likely due a problem with your edited source. Export a new copy of the sprite sheet you've picked using the archive explorer and edit it again. Try opening the exported image directly into your illustration program instead of making a new document and importing it. # Patches won't install when I double click on them from an explorer window. Open Rayman Control Panel. First A: Click the little arrow next to 'Launch' on Rayman Origins (or which ever game you're trying to at the patch to.) Click Patches. Then B: Click the little (+). An explorer window will open. Locate the .gp file and click 'OK'. Click the checkbox for the mod that you want to enable or uncheck it to disable it. Click 'Apply'. Galc Posted April 4, 2023 Posted April 4, 2023 I tried out the mod, and besides some thin gaps near the shoulders it's pretty great! I am curious if other parts of the game could also be made lewd, though I can't think of anything else with a chance of becoming topless besides maybe 1 teensie and the photo board at the end of the level... 1
broodbooy Posted April 5, 2023 Posted April 5, 2023 Thank you for the high quality mod! No joke I was just thinking this the other day like why did no one do this yet? On 4/1/2023 at 3:34 PM, EdgarShrodinger said: Q: Who’s your favourite Nymph? A: Etilla-bay! Also A Man of Taste ? 1
Guest Posted July 16, 2023 Posted July 16, 2023 thank you for sharing this. desperately desired a nude mod for this game for ages.
dermoritz Posted July 17, 2023 Posted July 17, 2023 wow - the best reason to re-install an old beauty - now even more beautiful ? 1
Damainisagenius Posted July 22, 2023 Posted July 22, 2023 idk why my save wont load anymore after i got this

Which method of installation in step 3. did you pick? What happens when you uninstall them? Where were you in the map/overworld when you last saved and quit? Have you installed and correctly directed the Rayman Control Panel to the right directory for Rayman Origins? This mod can't affect or harm your save file itself, but incorrect installation or a glitch in a patch can cause the game itself to crash when it tries to load certain gameplay elements on-screen. If you're worried about your save files, you can always backup and restore them using the Rayman Control Panel. Edited August 6, 2023 by EdgarShrodinger
great2b Posted December 26, 2023 Posted December 26, 2023 Hello. So, I noticed that you missed a few sprites. There are a few times when you are in the overworld and are about to complete a world with one of the nymphs trying to build a bridge. Those sprites are not modded. I tried to look for those sprites myself but I cannot find them. Here is the sprite sheet from The Spriters Resource. 1

I tried to look for those sprites myself but I cannot find them. Here is the sprite sheet from The Spriters Resource. I can’t believe I forgot that there were map sprites of the nymphs! I was testing my mods on a completed save game and it never came up! Rest assured, that WILL be corrected. I’ve found the original sprite sheets in the the Origins UbiArt pack (bundle_PC.ipk:/itf_cooked/pc/world/worldmap/actors/friendly/faery/animation) so I’ve got all I need to get started. Thanks for the information! ------------------- For anyone else reading, I’ll be tinkering with the current sprite sheets to try and fix the little marking lines that the nymphs have around their arms and “Fun Bags”. (And to fix a few artistic errors!) I’m also planning to update the .gp files for better compatibility with the Rayman Control Panel. Version 14 came out a little while ago, which changes the way mods are made and are handled. .gp files still work for now but I will update them to make sure they work for future versions. I’m currently doing some computer migration, so it may be a little while before I get back to working on the nymphs though! And finally, thanks to skibididuck who got the first screenshots of both versions of Voodoo Mamma! I'm glad the patch worked correctly. 1
great2b Posted December 28, 2023 Posted December 28, 2023 Thanks! I think Betilla is also unaffected in the game's intro cutscene but I believe that is pre-rendered so you probably can't do anything about it.
LeoPlayzMC Posted June 26, 2024 Posted June 26, 2024 The game crashes once you get to the stage "moseying the mountain"
HenToon4268 Posted August 3, 2024 Posted August 3, 2024 I can vouch, this crash happed to me too! Can you fix it?

Can you fix it? Damn it. I’ve tried to fix this problem already, but I have no idea what the issue with the patch file is. I thought it was all fixed since I managed to get both main scenes in Moseying the Mountain with Helena working. I am going to try to fix it with the next patch but it’ll still be a while before it comes out. The migration tasks I thought would take 1 month, have now ballooned to more than 6 months. 😩 At the current rate, it should take approximately another 50 days. So the end is in sight! If either of you (or anyone else for that matter) are still keen on seeing Helena, try install method 3c since I know that works on a clean install of Rayman Origins. Try the following steps: Remove all installed mods through the Rayman Control Panel Reinstall/repair Rayman Origins via the Ubisoft Connect/Uplay, Steam, GOG or throught the DVD Installer. (Remember to backup your saves just in case! You can use the RCP for that if you want.) Use method 3b to install all the patches in the RCP you want EXCEPT for Helena. Use method 3c and 4 and overwrite Helena’s modified sprite sheet to the Rayman Origins .ipk Click ‘Save Archive’ and run the game! Nymph tits! (Hopefully!) I hope this works, but if it still crashes as you progress to the right at the start of the level, then I think you’ll just have to deactivate the patch and restore the original sprite sheet files for now until I get around to fixing it. Good luck!
HenToon4268 Posted August 7, 2024 Posted August 7, 2024 (edited) Everything works now, but Holly Luya's perceless nipples edit is not showing up, no matter how many times I uninstall and reinstall the mods and/or replace the files... edit: Nevermind, I got everything. Ill patently wait for the next update that works! Edited August 7, 2024 by HenToon4268
great2b Posted October 4, 2024 Posted October 4, 2024 Hello. I was wondering on the update on the map sprites.

I’m sorry for the long response time, so I’ll just get right into giving you your answer: I’m working on it right now! I finally finished the tasks that were taking up all my free time a few days ago and moved to a new updated OS, so now this mod is my main focus. It took sooooo much longer than I expected. (Don’t keep 750,000 plus individual pics, videos and documents stuffed into one folder for 20+ years laced with stuff you want to keep. :P) I tried to get the most tedious parts done first. All the json coding is pretty much done. I’ve already touched up the original edits which should fix the ‘line’ issues around the Nymph’s arm joins, shoulders and breasts. Documentation about how to install the mods as well as make your own patch is being updated and is mostly complete except for a few images still to come. I think the most annoying part will be testing all the mods with the new way the RCP compiles mods. I’m really hoping that the Helena edit will work as a patch this time… I’m also adding a couple of small bonuses to the main sprites as hinted by the Lum in the image. I don’t want to spoil anything further so you’ll just have to wait and see! In terms of how long this is all going to take, I’d like to hope it takes no longer than 4 weeks maximum from now. But you’d be surprised how many urgent time absorbing things have reared their heads in just the past week. But then I ended up doing half of the touch-ups in one day! I’m sorry I can’t give a better time frame. If something goes spectacularly wrong, I’ll mention it. 3
EdgarShrodinger Posted November 29, 2024 Author Posted November 29, 2024 So, it’s done! Version 1.2 is uploaded and ready to go! You can check out the details at the bottom of the OP post on the main download page. There’s even a link to a short trailer I made if you want to see the mod in action! The surprise I mentioned previously was that every nymph now has a piercing mod! (If you want them to that is. 😉) If you’ve watched the trailer, I was having a go at a full nude mod for the Darktoon Cage part but ran into some clipping issues, something that’s going to take a lot of trial and error to correct. I’m going to try and get it right for Betilla first before I try doing it for the other Nymphs. I don’t have any time estimates for the next update, but there will be one eventually. I hope that people have fun with this till then! 2

Was hoping ya could if possible give all 6 nymphs a more skimpy version of theyre outfits aka make the nipples show and boob's bust also pussy and anus show possibly make the clothes a touch transparent, including giving them all the thicc tits and ass from nymph Edith up ? And keeping the excellent piercings ya did, Also how possible is it to have betilla have a redesign to her og rayman1 clothes patern/colors? Including purple lipstick? And how possible is it to have her not hold down her skirt during Rayman summoning intro, appreciated all your hard work ill dm ya also , also idea for the darktoon cage make them nude with the stockings remaining like in your concept yes but with piercings and additionally cum drenched Here's a betilla color scheme and pattern from Rayman 1 example you can use Also 1 more for betilla if possible add the loom squished between tits like here Edited May 3, 2025 by thunderyhellish322
EdgarShrodinger Posted June 8, 2025 Author Posted June 8, 2025 It’s been a little while but I’ve finally gotten back to work on this mod after completing a whole new pile of things from my SFW to-do list. I’ve mostly finished the edits for the darktoon cage sprite sheets and for Voodoo Mamma but I still need to test them out to see how they look. So it’ll still be quite a while before they’re ready. As I was working on those sprite sheet edits, I realised that a few of the teeth on the darktoon cages get in the way viewing some of the more… juicy bits. To aid in making it easier to see the Nymphs, the darktoons have gone to visit the dentist and had some of their teeth filed back. Don’t worry, they have free dental! 😉 You can download this micro-mod from this post. It’ll eventually be bundled together with the main mod in a future update, but it’s here to download right now if people are keen on it. If there are issues with it, please let me know. I do also want to tweak the teeth a bit more before I'm completely happy. ---------------------------------------- Darktoon Cage - Dentist Visit 1.0.zip ---------------------------------------- On a side note, it’s a little weird how when you look up close, the sprite sheets have so many holes in them. This is the case for almost every graphic in Origins. I’ve tried to do a bit of a tidy up for everything I’m editing/modding, which you might notice if you look closely at the above screen shot. And finally, as expected, doing a full nude mod of the freedom sprite sheet is a real pain in the ass. I’m not sure it’s going to look good but here’s hoping. 3

EdgarShrodinger Posted July 4, 2025 Author Posted July 4, 2025 So… a little update again! It works! WOOOOOOOOO! (You can view this stupid joke as an mp4 with sound here if you want.) I was having a lot of trouble trying to remove the lines around Betilla’s legs, but after a lot of trial and error I finally found the solution. The smear tool! For some reason, the re-imported sprite sheets really hate jagged/pixeled edges and gave the worst result. Even my attempts at feathering with the brushes didn’t work. But a 5px sized use of the smear tool along the edges seems to work! It’s still not perfect and I’m probably never going to have it perfect, but I feel it’s sitting at a pretty happy 90% of the way there for Betilla. Another 5% will be me getting the legs and body sections matching a bit better. I’ve also started work on Holly. While I was screen recording, I realised that the feather plumes that are next to her while she’s stuck in the Darktoon Cage partially block the view of her. So I’ve made another a little edit for better viewing pleasure. 😉 This one I’m completely happy with, so there almost certainly wont be any further updates to it. There is one slight downside to using it though. This edit affects every similar looking plume in the game, which you might not want, so please keep that in mind. And here’s a final update to the Darktoon Cage sprite as well. I’m very satisfied with this now and, like the plume edit, it probably won’t be receiving any further tweaks either. The Feather edit and updated Dentist Visit edit will eventually be included in the main mod once I’ve finished editing everything, but like before, they’re here in this post if you feel like you want to be ahead of the curve. ---------------------------------------- Darktoon Cage - Dentist Visit 1.0.1.zip Plume Trim 1.0.zip ---------------------------------------- 5
