This rings a bell. Do you by any chance have an XPMS/XP32 skeleton and Realistic Ragdolls installed? If so, go check the XPMS page and Comments thread for recent info. ;)

this trouble occurs sometimes after a battle when the enemy was killed remains his weapon and shield associated with the corpse. then when you try to move the corpse that is not always possible. as sword and shield, have a dead weight to the leader so heavy objects the worse you can move the corpse. So collect these objects and you can move the balance better.

Same bell ringing here. This is usually an effect of the XPMS/XP32 skeleton, without having RRaF installed. As far as I understand that, the over 200 nodes of that skeleton increase the theoretical weight of bodies, so Skyrim flags them as very heavy, so you can't toss them around or even drag them. XP32 delivers a male and a female skeleton and a 1st person view skeleton, but in some cases it's just wiser to just install the female or the male variant, as long as there is no custom skeleton for one gender for the special purpose you want a compatible skeleton. Some custom skeletons that are a mix of XP32 and something else for compatibility, should have the same effect, because usually they come even along with extra bones/nodes.

Realistic Ragdolls and Force is the solution and installation order is essential.

Before you install any XP32 or XP32 custom skeleton (like the numerous skulltyrant ones or this one for male for example, if you use SoS: http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/36923/?) you have to Install Realistic Ragdolls and Force (the realistic variant): http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/601/?

After RRaF install XPMS or any other custom XPMS custom variant and override all files of RRaF. This is just the install order for just using RRaF and XP32, NO other skeleton mod.

If you use several other skeleton changing mods in combination (SoS etc.) please look up their sites on Nexus and look for installation orders. One of the best skeleton installation instructions I read here: http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/36923/?

Add to that installation instructions of RRaF: http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/601/?

So installation should happen like that (only as an example, it may be different for other skeleton changing mods):

-FNIS

-SoS

-RRaF override all (it will change the SoS male and default female skeleton)

-XPMS (it adds male and female, so if you want to change females too and give them a BBP enabled skeleton you need to install it for females at least), override all (it will change the RRaF male and female skeleton, but keep the lesser force effect from RRaF)

-XPMSplusSoS (it will just override the XPMS male skeleton by replacing it with a custom XP32+SoS skeleton, so you have SoS compatibility and all advantages of the XP32 skeleton).

-> RUN FNIS (and always the skeleton arm fix patch checked).

You might imagine that if you use several skeleton changing mods or skeleton based animations and maybe even different ones for either female or male, installing skeleton mods might soon become similiar to rocket science :-)
