ownage123 Posted February 7, 2023 Posted February 7, 2023 Nearly dead is a new game made by korean Catyclysm DDA and Unreal World modders. It is inspired by Project Zomboid and Cataclysm. It is supposedly build up from the start to be highly moddable. You can either get it for free on itch.io or you can pay 25$ on steam. But the version on itch.io hasn't been updated since 2021 while the version on steam was updated on February 2022. They will start working on it again after they release their other game Nearly Dead - Live and Let Die which is I think the multiplayer version of Newly Dead will be released in 7 days.  Links to the different versions of the game: Paid Multiplayer version: https://store.steampowered.com/app/1901810/Nearly_Dead__Live_and_Let_Die/ Free version: https://monosw2000.itch.io/nearly-dead Paid version: https://store.steampowered.com/app/1268900/Nearly_Dead/ 1
Algene Posted February 7, 2023 Posted February 7, 2023 I remember there being another thread for this game, is good to see it didn't die.
Garnet Dawn Posted February 9, 2023 Posted February 9, 2023 I feel scammed that they didn't just update the paid version to add the multiplayer and other stuff the new one they're releasing has. Seems like it's gonna be another cash grab, which is disappointing since I really liked the game.. 1
savilianan Posted February 9, 2023 Posted February 9, 2023 Well, the dev had promised they will be getting back to ND once they had NDLLD out and stabled. They were based in south korea, they went bankrupted early last year and rebounces just a few months ago, seems to be a victim of last year's luna crypto fall.
