Hello friends, 

 

    I'm mainly a lurker here, but I've been modding Bethesda games for quite a while now, so I'm used to looking through load orders and all that jazz. So tonight at 2 am I decided I'd get back into Skyrim. 

  

  There's two problems with that, one it was 2AM, and two, my internet was so slow that it took me untill 4AM (Current time as of posting). So, I'm tired, yeah, but I decided I'd take it easy, not one of my big 150~ mod load orders, one with the basics and required (LoversLab mods are always a must). Anyway, onto my issue. I can get to the main menu just fine, which means I'm not missing any glaring issues. However upon new game/load of a save right in helgen (or whatever that town that gets burnt by dragonbro is called(I'm really really tired right now))  I would crash, which would appear to have something to do with either my alternate start mod (which I'm leaning toward that) or some other scripting error.

 

  I'm posting this thread just to get a second opinion, so whilst I sleep I could have another person look over my load order and tell me how much of an idiot I am for running mods without certain requirements. Anyway, here comes the load order:

The only thing you can really do at this point is checking each of the mod for compatibility issues, uncheck the mods one by one and load....rinse and repeat.

 

This is the problem if having hundreds of mods loaded, once something gets fucked up, its a pain in the ass, thats why i try to stay clear of overhaul mods.

If this problem happened just recently, you should check out the mods you installed last time, having overhaul mods with alternate start is always a good way to make your game broken, but i also learned many times that a mod you would never think to cause problems, can be the culprit.

 

Recently i reinstalled Skyrim again after a long time, freshly started with 22 mods (half of them armor mods), the game was running like a butter until i died, thats where the problem with not being able to load my saves started...spent half day figuring out what the hell was going on...my bet was on Sands of Time, a mod that spawns enemies, but in the end it was a mod i could have never thought causing a problem, a camping mod...

 might wanna take a look on Skyre and the weather mods you have, in obl they always conflict (the weathers)

Hello again, so I've woken up after my little sleep and I'm getting to fixing this clusterfuck that tired-me has created (seriously, that guy is my bane). So I'm starting with just the basics, no overhauls and nothing too fancy. Just to make sure it's nothing idiotic.

Yeah, I'm actually uninstalling that as we speak, however it wasn't ever active, unless I had it active at the time of posting load order, and if so I'm crazy. The Reproccer thing I must've missed, thanks for the heads-up!

Yeah, I'm used to the troubleshooting, I think tired me thought it was a grand idea to get others to fix his problems whilst he slept. However I woke up today and realized that it was rather lazy of me, as I could just locate the problem myself in 15 minutes without having to bug others online. However thanks to his reckless disregarding of my usual ideas I get to have these little conversations with lovely people.

 

  Anyway, I'm troubleshooting right now, but if you notice anything, or just want to make fun of me for being a dolt feel free.

  Apparently it was schlongs of skyrim. Whodahthunkit. Oh, and no eyes, but I'll fix that in a few minutes.

  Children of skyrim was destroying all the eyes. Oh well, I didn't want that race anyway.

Yeah sorry i wasnt really much of a help but with so many mods it really can be anything, even with mods that are compatible witheachother, sometimes things get messed up...so my guess would have been good as anyones.

 

Well it looks from your post you are slowly finding out the culprits, dont give up!
