"I have no greeting" - fixable?

Hello!

 

Another newbie question from your friendly neighbourhood... uh, newbie!

I recently installed the SlaveTrade (and possibly RapeSlave?) mod and after I entered the game, pretty much everyone I talk to with the exception of the odd guard gives me "I have no greeting". It's... pretty game-breaking actually. Is there a way to fix this, or do I have to reinstall completely?

Well you have broken something but re-installation is not necessary at this point. Post your load order so we can see what all mods your running to get an idea of how you may have set everyone in your game to no greeting status.

Indeed. I keep seeing how load order is important, and I have downloaded a little app that supposedly sorts things for you, but I'm at a total loss as to whether or not it works, or the load order it gives is correct!

LoversBackup2.esp <----remove as you don't need this anymore as it is built into lovers with pk v90 and up.

 

 

 

While this may not fix your no responses it will allow lovers to run correctly.

Note: this load order is per the lovers FAQ: http://www.loverslab.com/showthread.php?tid=3 (see the txt file at the bottom of the 1st post).

 

 

Also it may be necessary to do a clean save to fix things. Disable all lovers mods and then start oblivion load your latest save then once loaded hit escape and make a new save. Then exit oblivion and enable your lovers files and restart oblivion loading the clean save you just made.
